Today I am very happy to share with you a very special day 😍 where in family unity we celebrated the Baptism of my princess Lucia 🙏✨ it was a small sharing but made with much love to celebrate that my princess received God's blessing 💖.
Since Lucia was about 2 years old we had planned to have her baptism, but between the pandemic and several family losses we had postponed it, finally now that she is 4 and a half years old we were able to have her baptism in the company of our family and close friends.
For the celebration of the baptism we had to choose the godparents of Lucia, this is something very important because the godparents must be responsible people who show love and affection towards our children, in our case thank God we have many family and friends who love our princess so selecting the godparents was a little difficult, however I think the chosen ones were perfect because we know that they will be for Lucia when she needs it, I chose as godparents my uncle Oscar who is like a father to me and my sister @marilegny, both love Lucia and I think they will be the perfect support for her, on my husband's side he chose his cousin Susana and nephew Jesus Alejandro who also love my princess Lucia.
The celebration of the mass for the baptism was held in the church of Our Lady of Coromoto in the city of Cumana-Venezuela 🇻🇪, was in charge of our friend Father Jose Gregorio, who is super friendly and loving, the sermon was full of beautiful words to reflect on the importance of the presence of God in our lives, He also spoke about the sacrament of Baptism and its importance, the anointing of the oils and performed the placing of the water in the baptismal font to bless, purify and make my princess Lucia a daughter of God and a member of the church. It was a really beautiful ceremony! 🙏✨
At the end of the mass we took several family pictures inside and outside the church, Lucia looked radiant, she was very happy because despite being so small she understood the words of Father José and told me: Mommy now I am also a daughter of God🙏 she is so beautiful and tender my princess that I will never tire of thanking God for giving me the privilege of being her mother! 🙏
Then we went to the house, where he had prepared a small table of sweets to share with the family and a nice lunch, we spent a very pleasant time talking and enjoying the family of the witticisms of our princess Lucia. 💖✨
Baptism is a very important sacrament that officially makes us children of God and frees us from original sin, for us as Catholics it is something fundamental that fills us with joy and it was very nice to celebrate it in the company of my family, as well as to share it through my blog with all of you! La pandemia nos cambió la vida en algunos de nuestro planes de vida. Fueron muchos los contratiempos para que la princesa lucía recibiera el sacramento más importante como lo es el bautismo, Dios la bendiga.
Los Compartir he visto que últimamente se celebran en familia y muy íntimo, pero lo importante es no dejar de pasar la celebración por debajo de la mesa.
