Tocando su sombra ☝️ [ES|EN] // Touching his shadow - Shadow Hunters Contest- Round 219

Hola amigos de @shadowhunter. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la fotografía de mi hijo tocando su propia sombra. Esta fotografía fue tomada hace nueve años atrás en el parque temático Disney Hollywood Studios en la ciudad de Orlando Florida.

La verdad es, que no recordaba que la hubiéramos tomado, pero me encantó como él está allí, supongo que imitando lo que celebridades hicieron antes para dejar las impresiones de sus manos en los mosaicos del piso.

No importa quienes seamos ni dónde estemos, siempre nuestra sombra es fiel. Muchas veces detrás pero otras veces delante, como testigos de que estamos allí, como cuerpos materiales que están reaccionando al sol o a la luz para reflejar nuestra existencia. A veces como una copia, otras como una expansión e incluso como una reducción de nuestro ser.

La verdad es que ese día, con el sol tan fuerte se podían encontrar sombras en cualquier parte donde miraráramos. Y allí estaba él, noble e inocente disfrutando y admirando de lo que en esa oportunidad tuvo el privilegio de conocer. Las fotografías nos permiten recordar y viajar al pasado, en este caso no tan atrás, pero siempre es nostálgico pero a la vez maravilloso refrescar esos recuerdos porque "recordar es vivir". Además una experiencia en familia que quizás no tengamos la oportunidad de repetir.

Hello friends of @shadowhunter. Today I want to share with you a picture of my son touching his own shadow. This picture was taken nine years ago at the Magic Kingdom theme park in Orlando Florida.

The truth is, I didn't remember us taking it, but I loved how he is there, I guess imitating what celebrities did before to leave their hand prints on the floor tiles.

No matter who we are or where we are, always our shadow is faithful. Many times behind but other times in front, as witnesses that we are there, as material bodies that are reacting to the sun or the light to reflect our existence. Sometimes as a copy, sometimes as an expansion and even as a reduction of our being.

The truth is that on that day, with the sun so strong, you could find shadows everywhere you looked. And there he was, noble and innocent, enjoying and admiring what he had the privilege of knowing. Photographs allow us to remember and travel to the past, in this case not so far back, but it is always nostalgic but at the same time wonderful to refresh those memories because "to remember is to live". Also a family experience that we may not have the opportunity to repeat.
