My Actifit Report Card: February 7 2026

Hey Actifitters,

The weekend didn't really change our walking routine yesterday but at least it was a great weather: cold and sunny! So we started with some time in the backyard and on the deck.

But that's obviously not enough for Kaia, so we headed to the small forest behind the front yard next.

Kaia must have been inspired by the winter Olympics because she was even more eager than usual to run and jump over the first obstacles.

And then we chased the sun.

Of course we weren't done for the day yet and went to the bigger forest next. We arrived just in time for the sunset there.

And still plenty of daylight to walk the trails, even after the sun started to disappear behind the trees.

We made our usual stop near the streets corner to check out the last sunset colors.

And one final loop cutting back through the forest on our way back home.

Like I said, pretty typical day in terms of walking, just a little but earlier and longer than most weekdays. Still, it wasn't enough to reach 20k steps. Maybe on Sunday with again plenty of sun in the forecast and hopefully enough time to visit a local park.
