Fall hiking in Michigan - My Actifit Report Card: October 23 2021
Hey Actifitters,
We decided to go on a hike to enjoy the Michigan fall colors. Even if it's late in October, it was still not at peak, but still worth the 3hour drive to this Au Sable River trail that I like.
We had a very changing weather. It was sunny first.
Of course, Genepi and Kaia were out hiking with us.
Then we had some rain, but luckily it lasted only about 30 minutes and then the sun was back. Many different views along the trail we selected. Sand dunes to start with.
Of course forests.
And the Au Sable river adding beauty to the scenery and reflections.
As usual, the dogs were tired (not a sound the entire drive back) but happy.
Well, it's just a quick preview, I hope to find the time for a proper post about this great hike.

Michigan looks so much like Poland! Love this season and the colors.
We will face each other in the Quarterfinal of Champions League. Matches on Wednesday and Saturday.

Based on some of your posts, you have the advantage of mountains, unlike Michigan which is very flat. But we do have plenty of forests, and of course many lakes. I hope I can one day visit Poland and some other places in the same European region.
I also like this season. It's a little strange this year though, with the mild temperatures, many areas are not even at peak color yet. We might get snow before all the leaves fall!
Good luck for the Quarterfinal! My stepping is not always consistent these days, but I'll try my best as usual.
