Rose, The Angel with the Tender Look.
Hello my people, how are you? Happy and blessed Friday for all of you who are here and welcome once again to my art blog, I'm sorry for not being here in the last week, but the truth is that I was very sick and it was until a couple of days ago that I recovered a little and I could start drawing again; today's drawing is a Dark Angel style work like the ones I did some time ago and which I titled Rose, The Angel of the Tender Gaze, I hope you like the process of realization:
¿Hola mi gente que tal? Feliz y bendecido viernes para todos los que por aquí se encuentran y sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, lamento no haber estado por aquí en la última semana, pero la verdad es que me encontraba muy enfermo y fue hasta hace par de días que me recupere un poco y pude ponerme a dibujar otra vez; la de hoy se trata de una obra al estilo Ángel Oscuro como las que hacia hace algún tiempo atrás y a la cual titule Rose, El Angel de la Mirada Tierna, espero les guste el proceso de realización:
PROCESS / PROCESO
First of all, I started with a simple sketch which helped me to create a little bit the silhouette of Rose's character, I focused on creating a kind of half profile in which we see a pretty girl with long hair and covered by her big and imposing wings, I tried to give a middle point between dark Angel but with a little innocent look; I was giving shape to the final sketch and then I applied the right colors, especially for the skin for which I only used 3 different colors but I applied the layer modes to lighten and darken them according to what I needed.
Primero que nada, comencé con un boceto simple el cual me ayudara a crear un poco la silueta del personaje de Rose, me centre en crear una especie de medio perfil en el cual vemos a una linda chica con cabello algo largo y cubierta por sus grandes e imponentes alas, trate de dar un punto medio entre Ángel oscuro pero con una mirada un poco inocente; fui dándole forma al boceto final para luego ir aplicando los colores adecuados, sobre todo para la piel para la cual solo use 3 colores diferentes pero aplique los modos de capa para irlos aclarando y oscureciendo según lo que necesitara.
Next in the painting process was to create the eyes for Rose, in this case I decided to use as a base a gray for the eyeball and a swampy green for the base of the lips, then in the upper layer I added more details and colors in more intense tones; for the inner part of the eye in the iris I used super bright tones to highlight a little more this section. Continuing with my work I moved on to what would be the painting of the hair for which I decided to use a tone quite similar to the lips, but this time I used the airbrush to create a softer base for the hair, little by little I was giving details of volume and relief to this section with several different brushes.
Lo siguiente en el proceso de pintado fue ir creando los ojos para Rose, en este caso decidí usar como base un gris para el globo ocular y un verde pantanoso para la base de los labios, luego en capa superiores fue añadiendo más detalles y colores en tonos más intensos; para la parte interna del ojo en el iris use tonos súper brillantes para resaltar un poco más este apartado. Continuando con mi obra me pase a lo que sería el pintado del cabello para el cual decidí utilizar un tono bastante similar al de los labios, pero esta vez emplee el pincel aerógrafo para ir creando una base más suave para el pelo, poco a poco fui dándole detalles de volumen y relieve a esta sección con varios pinceles diferentes.
After finishing with the hair I continued with the painting of the wings of our Dark Angel, the main idea was to create the wings as if they were covering and wrapping all his body, first I used a medium brown tone for a first base color and then with more intense tones I gave a little more detail to the wings in order to make them look more realistic and special. Then with the layer modes (Multiply and Glow) I gave some last details of volume to the wings.
Luego de terminar con el cabello proseguí con el pintado de las alas de nuestro Ángel Oscuro, la idea principal era crear las alas como que se encontraban cubriendo y arropando todo su cuerpo, primero usé un tono de marrón medio para una primera base de color y luego con tonos más intensos fui dándole un poco más de detalle a las alas de modo de hacerlas parecer más realistas y especiales. Luego con los modos de capa (Multiplicar y Brillo) fui dándole unos últimos detalles de volumen a las alas.
Finally to give some last details to my work I decided to paint a small background with a texture of bush petals in a reddish tone, this so that the work did not look so empty in the background, then more deep shadows throughout the work both in the part of Rose's character and in the background and finally a couple of layers of glitter complemented my work in a way that I liked quite a lot.
Ya finalmente para darle unos últimos detalles a mi obra decidí pintar un pequeño fondo con textura de pétalos de arbustos en tonalidad rojiza, esto para que la obra no se viera tan vacía en el fondo, luego más sombras profundas en toda la obra tanto en la parte del personaje de Rose como en el fondo y por últimos un par de capas de brillos complementaron mi obra de una manera que me agrado bastante.
