That there were people happy day and I hope they are very very well, today I want to share a new work for my art blog and it is Amanda, A Cinnamon Shine in the Dark Night and in it I focused on practicing a little with the tonalities means to get a character with a rather bright appearance; especially in the aspect of the skin where I wanted to capture a brunette girl with quite shiny cinnamon skin as if she were an Amazonian warrior. The truth is that this is something that is difficult for me to achieve many times, but lately I have been looking at tutorials and videos on how to achieve a well-achieved brunette appearance and I want to share the results of these practices with you and I hope you like it:

Que hubo gente feliz día y espero se encuentren muy muy bien, hoy les quiero compartir una nueva obra para mi blog de arte y se trata de Amanda, Un Brillo Canela en la Oscura Noche y en ella me centre en practicar un poco con las tonalidades medias para conseguir a un personaje con apariencia bastante brillante; sobre todo en el aspecto de la piel donde quería plasmar a una chica morena con una piel bastante canela brillosa como si se tratara de una guerrera amazónica. La verdad esto es algo que me cuesta muchas veces lograr, pero últimamente he estado mirando tutoriales y videos de cómo conseguir una apariencia morena bien lograda y quiero compartirles los resultados de estas prácticas y espero les guste:

PROCESS / PROCESO

First of all, I concentrated on building a very stylized female sketch with a very sensual pose, but at the same time with a very tender look; for this I took a little time and I was trying different styles of strokes and brushes. Once I finished my sketch and was satisfied I could concentrate on building that tanned skin look as I had in mind from the beginning; first I applied a lot of rough strokes with the watercolor brush and another flat brush to establish the bases of the skin and some sections like collarbones, jaw and so on.

Primero que nada, me concentre en construir un boceto femenino bastante estilizado con una pose muy sensual, pero que a la vez se viera con una mirada bastante tierna; para esto me tome un ligero tiempo y estuve probando con diferentes estilos de trazos y pinceles. Una vez termine mi boceto y quedo satisfecho allí si pude concentrarme en construir esa apariencia de piel bronceada como yo tenía en mente desde un inicio; primero aplique muchos trazos algo toscos con el pincel acuarela y otro pincel plano para establecer las bases de la piel y algunas secciones como clavículas, mandíbula y demás.

After establishing the skin sections and achieving an adequate volume for the face and the visible body, the next thing I had to do was to detail even more the face to transmit a bit of personality and life to this Amada character. The first step was to establish the gray base of the eyeball and a light brown base for the lips which would be natural; for the eyes I used yellow and green tones to build a quite striking light eyes and for the lips I just continued detailing little by little and adding glosses for realism.

Luego de lograr establecer las secciones de la piel y de lograr un volumen adecuado para el rostro y el cuerpo visible, lo siguiente que me quedaba era el detallar aún más el rostro para transmitir un poco de personalidad y vida a este personaje de Amada. El primer paso fue establecer la base gris del globo ocular y una base de marrón claro para los labios los cuales serían naturales; para los ojos me anime a usar tonos amarillos y verdes para construir unos ojos claros bastante llamativos y para los labios solo continúe detallando poco a poco y agregando brillos para realismo.

Continuing with the painting of Amanda the next step was the coloring of the hair, as you know and you will agree dark hair is the one that best suits the dark skin tones like my character, I have always felt that they make a special contrast and therefore I decided to give a dark tone to Amanda. The first thing I did was to create a base with watercolor brushes in grayscale and then with the same brush I made thinner and thinner strokes to build a relief and realism very cool for the hair; then with certain shines and layer modes I was complementing everything better.

Continuando con el pintado de Amanda el siguiente paso fue el de el colorado del cabello, como sabrán y estarán de acuerdo el cabello oscuro es el que más se adecua a los tonos de piel morena como el de mi personaje, siempre me ha parecido que hacen un contraste especial y por ello decidí darle una tonalidad Oscura a Amanda. Lo primero fue ir plasmando una base con pinceles acuarela en escala de grises y posteriormente con el mismo pincel fui realizando trazos más finos y delgados para construir un relieve y realismo muy genial para el pelo; luego con ciertos brillos y modos de capa fui complementando todo mejor.

Finally and to give a good end to my drawing I proposed to create a scenario that would serve as a background for my drawing, the idea was to create an open scenario of a dark and deep night full of stars and for this I started applying blue and black tones with the help of the (Gradation) brush. After establishing an organic division of colors I began to make tiny white spots for the stars that illuminate the dark night, besides creating a half moon with the help of a special Photoshop brush that complements the night better; finally and so that the sky was not so empty I decided to add a couple of scattered clouds along with a couple of glows and shadows.

Ya por último y para darle un buen final a mi dibujo me propuse crear un escenario que sirviera como fondo para mi dibujo, la idea era la de crear un escenario abierto de una oscura y profunda noche llena de estrellas y para esto comencé aplicando tonalidades azules y negros con la ayuda del pincel de (Gradation). Luego de establecer una división orgánica de colores comencé a realizar manchas blancas diminutas para las estrellas que iluminan la noche oscura, además de crear una media luna con la ayuda de un pincel especial de Photoshop que complementaria mejor la noche; ya por último y para que el cielo no quedara tan vacío decidí agregar un par de nubes dispersas junto a un par de brillos y sombras.
