I usually get furious when I hurt my toe or my head on some piece of furniture. I usually want to smash that open window, or cupboard, or door (handle) to bits. I just can't tolerate those immobile objects' aggression. Why do they ever exist?

That's the way we sometimes think, when in pain, when in shock.
