Although I don't drink mate, for most Argentines, it's such a deeply ingrained custom that there are thousands of brands of this yerba on the market.

A few days ago, I saw these two new flavors that caught my eye, since they go beyond the usual.

One is flavored with spicy mango, and the other, riding the Dubai chocolate craze, includes pistachio. I showed both to an Argentine friend, and her look of horror said it all.

Now the question is, was it an Argentine who came up with these products?

Aunque yo no tomo mate, para la mayoria de los argentinos, es una cistumbre tan arraigada que en el mercado existen miles de marcas de esta yerba.

En días pasados vi este par de nuevos sabores que llamaron mi atención, pues van mas allá de lo acostumbrado.

Uno va sabirizado con mango picante, y el otro, adaptado a la fiebre del chocolate dubai que incluye pistacho. Ambos se los mostré a una amiga argentina y su cara de horror lo dijo todo.

Ahora la pregunta es, será argentino el que se le ocurrió hacer estos productos?
