Hello fellow entrepreneurs. This week I've been swamped with work on my business. I had a couple of surprise orders from people who wanted custom-made fabrics, which really helps and sparks my creativity.

Lo cierto es que, tenía esos encargos desde hace varias semanas, pero, me gusta sacarlos unos pocos días antes de la quincena, para que mis clientes tengan la posibilidad de pagar a tiempo, ¡hasta eso lo pienso, por lo que, trato de empatizar! The truth is, I've had those orders for several weeks, but I like to release them a few days before payday so my clients have time to pay on time—I even think about that, so I try to be understanding! And besides, it also gives me time to buy the materials and make sure everything is done right; I'm a perfectionist about that.

One of the orders included a woven cross—it was quite a challenge! It was my first time making a woven cross, and I used snake-tail yarn, which was the closest shade of green to the bracelet, to make the cross as a pendant. However, the first attempt was a complete failure. Although my mom and boyfriend initially encouraged me and told me it looked very pretty, I personally didn't like it. I packaged it, sent a photo to the client, and she did indeed say the cross looked strange. I wasn't satisfied with that, so I made it again, this time using a terlenca-type yarn in a darker shade of green, since it was the only color I could find. It turned out much better—more elegant, smaller, and the client loved it this time.

However, I had to prepare the thread, and I spent about half an hour just burning the thread into a needle shape so the evil eye beads would fit, since the hole was smaller than the diameter of the thread.

The other orders were for basic items that I already have in my catalog, but from people I've never sold to before. Although they take time and dedication because I make them with love, they have their own process to ensure they are as close as possible to what I expect and want.

Es por eso que, también hice algunas publicaciones en las redes sociales que, manejo de mi emprendimiento, para agradecer a los nuevos clientes que llegaron a mi. Algunos simplemente por Facebook vía market place, que les conté en otra publicación, y otros que, llegaron por recomendación de otros clientes recurrentes qué ya tengo. Esto me hace sentir bien emocionada y apoyada. De mi emprendimiento; hacer bisutería es mi parte favorita, porque pongo en maquina mi creatividad y ayudo a los demás a sentirse protegidos.

That's why I also made some posts on the social media accounts I manage for my business, to thank the new clients who came to me. Some simply came through Facebook Marketplace, which I mentioned in another post, and others came through recommendations from my existing, regular clients. This makes me feel so excited and supported. Making jewelry is my favorite part of my business because I get to unleash my creativity and help others feel protected.
