I love the Ladies of Hive contests, and I particularly enjoyed this week's questions; I really resonate with them, and answering them also helps me with self-exploration and self-discovery. 😊
Amo los concursos de Ladies of Hive y me encantaron particularmente las preguntas de esta semana, me siento muy identificada con ellas, y a la vez responderlas me ayuda con mi autoexploración y autoconocimiento 😊
1️⃣ If you had the time and could take an educational course on anything, what would you study and how would you use the knowledge gained?
1️⃣Si tuvieras tiempo y pudieras realizar un curso educativo sobre cualquier tema, ¿Qué estudiarías y cómo utilizarías los conocimientos adquiridos?
If I had the time and opportunity to study something new, it wouldn't exactly be a formal degree program—I already have one, though I don't actually work in that field. Instead, I’d love to learn something simpler—a craft that has really captured my imagination and that I’m dying to master: knitting. Embroidery appeals to me too, but knitting is the main draw; it seems like such a relaxing activity that also allows you to create wonderful, beautiful things. I’d love to learn to knit everything from simple tablecloths to clothing, and especially *amigurumi* (those adorable knitted dolls). I want to create beautiful items—primarily for myself—but I’d also like to treat it as a potential source of income; who knows, maybe one day I could even turn it into a small business.
Si tuviera la oportunidad y el tiempo de estudiar algo no sería propiamente una carrera (ya tengo una y de hecho no ejerzo) lo que me gustaría estudiar es algo sencillo y que sin embargo es una actividad que me quita el sueño y yo muero por poder dominar, me refiero al tejido, también me llama la atención el bordado pero sobre todo el tejido, me gusta porque se ve que es una actividad relajante que además te permite crear cosas maravillosas y hermosas, me gustaría aprender a tejer de todo, desde sencillos manteles hasta ropa y en especial los famosos amigurumi (esos preciosos muñecos tejidos) me gustaría crear cosas hermosas en especial para mi pero también me gustaría tenerlo como una posible fuente de ingresos y quién sabe si en algún momento pudiera tener un pequeño emprendimiento.

2️⃣¿Cuál es tu color favorito? Describe cómo te hace sentir cuando lo ves o estás cerca de él.
Black will always be my favorite color; it is so understated and elegant, even when dressed very casually. I’ve loved wearing all black since I was a teenager (despite my family's criticism), though naturally, as I grew into adulthood, I started incorporating other colors into my outfits—mostly because family members would gift me colorful pieces. Still, I love black because it works with any fashion combination, and I also love black accessories (my style is somewhat like Wednesday Addams's 😄).
Mi color favorito siempre y por siempre será el negro, es tan sobrio y elegante aún y cuando vistes de manera muy informal, desde que era adolescente me encanta vestir completamente de negro (a pesar de las críticas de mi familia) claro está que a medida que me convertí en adulta fui incorporando otros colores a mis outfits, sobre todo porque algunos familiares me regalaban alguna pieza de color, pero am el color negro porque además permite cualquier tipo de combinación en materia de modas, también me gustan los accesorios color negro (soy más o menos del estilo de Wednesday Addams 😄)

Many years ago, I learned to knit, but only a basic knit pattern and I never really put any effort into it. It is somewhat magical though, when you complete a scarf or a blanket. I think you would enjoy the challenge especially if you go beyond what I ever did and the satisfaction of creating something for yourself and others.
Black is indeed elegant; can go with anything; can be dressed up or down. I wear a lot of black however, I have kitties, and black seems to be a magnet for that kitty hair, lol! It's a never ending battle!
