It was simply about love. There was a connection beyond that between them. The hen and my girl had a perfect bond. Until the hen disappeared, we suspect because of a robbery.

These were the last photographs I took of them together. I preferred the black and white contrast because, besides being my favorite, it supports my idea of showing the deepest and simplest feeling. So simple, a pure bond that I try to capture, no poses, no makeup: just a girl and her pet in a moment of tenderness.

Simplemente se trataba de amor. Existía una conexión más allá entre ellas. La gallina y mi niña tenían un vínculo perfecto. Hasta que la gallina desapareció, sospechamos a causa de un robo.

Estas fueron las últimas fotografías que les hice juntas. Preferí el contraste en blanco y negro pues, además de ser mi preferido, soporta mi idea de mostrar el sentimiento más profundo y simple. Así de sencillo, un vínculo puro que trato de capturar, sin poses, sin maquillaje: solo una niña y su mascota en un momento de ternura.
