I regularly talk about games that have recently appeared on the game pass. This is because there are so many games on the game pass, people might not know which game to play. If I talk about a game repetitively chances are it isn't a bad game!

Assassin's Creed Odyssey - LB button doesn't work

When you're playing the tutorial in this game Assassin's Creed Odyssey, they taught you how to use the LB button for special melee attacks, such as bull rushing. However, after you start the game, you will notice that the LB button does nothing. This is because you haven't trained the abilities for it. Once you train an ability, the LB button will start working again. In this video you can see how I do that.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Can you recruit a mercenary?

In Assassin's Creed Odyssey there is a really cool feature where you can recruit your enemies to work on your ship. However, when the recruit feature was explained when you train your skills, it doesn't specifically say that you need to have a ship in order to recruit. So I spent ages looking up on the internet how to recruit someone.. It turns out that all you have to do to recruit someone is to own a ship first.

So how do you own a ship? All you have to do is follow the main line quest, and when it comes time to leave the island you grew up on, you will get a free large ship with heaps of crew already. Once you have a ship, if a mercenary comes after you, you can simply finish him off with a kick (not a sword), and when he is lying on the ground you can choose the recruit function.

In the video I show you the whole process and I also show you in the end that he is definitely recruited as you can see the recruited mercenary on your ship!

It's interesting that the True Achievements website gives me a higher TA score (not Gamerscore) for Matchpoint Tennis Championships than Assassin's Creed Odyssey, even though I have definitely spent more time in Odyssey than tennis! Perhaps it's because I play tennis in real life that I did so well in the game?
