How to find your own photos in the Facebook app

Originally back in 2008 I signed up to Facebook to share my photos with my friends. If I remember that was the main purpose of Facebook - if you had photos to share with your friends, put them on Facebook.

However, recently I was browsing the Facebook app and I wanted to find one of my photos that I have shared in the past. I was looking around for ages and could not find where my photos were! There are now so many features in the Facebook app - you can sign up to events, play games, watch videos, buy things, join groups... Where are photos??

I think I may have found a bug in the FB app - The "Photos" tab seems to only appear when I choose to view my public profile. Is this happening to anybody else?
