Hello everyone. I just wanted to thank @blackdaisyft for helping me with the game Gods Unchained. I know I can just send her a message on Discord but I think this kind of gesture should be acknowledged publicly.

@blackdaisyft is a brand new user to Hive. In her introduction post https://peakd.com/hive-124452/@blackdaisyft/or-who-am-i-or-my-journey-of-self-discovery-so-far-and-what-i-figth-for-or she mentioned that she met Acid through Gods Unchained. I downloaded this game recently to have a go but I was losing every game as I had no understanding of how to customise the deck. It's very hard to win with the standard deck as experienced players would know. In her article I left a comment saying that I'm interested in the game but I am very bad at it.

@blackdaisyft responded by saying that she wanted to help me get better at it. Here is a brand new user who was overwhelmed with responses welcoming her to Hive, but she was willing to help me understand the game, without me even asking. I think this is the kind of person we really need on this blockchain. Someone who is happy to help others.

In order to succeed at something, I think we have all gotten help from someone at some point. Since @blackdaisyft gave me some tips through Discord, I have been winning about 9 out of 10 games. Prior to that I was losing most of the time. This is not a post about how to play the game better, rather I think what I'm trying to convey is, we should be really thankful when someone helps us with something, because without that it's very hard to succeed.

I am not new to blockchain or computer games. I have been here on Hive for 5 years but every time I have tried a blockchain game I usually lose interest due to the complexity and lack of understanding. This is probably the first blockchain game that I am finally able to start getting into.

You can see from the screenshots below, which I took just before finishing off my opponents. I am not just winning but I am now winning convincingly. Some of the people I played barely touched me. All of this came about just from a few tips. Thank you again @blackdaisyft.

Update 2022/01/01: First date of the new year I'm totally addicted to this game.. LoL. I've won 18 games and completed the gauntlet of the Gods in one day..

It really warms my heart to see I made a difference in your game! 😁 I'm happy to have been interacting more with fellow hivers and see the chain of love and mutual help that runs in this blockchain. I am new to all of this but it has already given me so much joy, knowledge and confidence to just be myself 😍

And plus, thank you for taking the time to give me credit as the only thanks I needed is the knowledge I had made a small difference in your journey 🙏

Happy winnings! I believe now is the time to arrange that 1on1 game I suggested in my intro post 😉💪

I found the tutorials very confusing starting out. I may go back again for a second go.
