Un cordial saludo y un fuerte abrazo queridos amigos de Hive, #YoSoyMag y hoy les quiero contar lo que fue mi más reciente viaje a la hermosa ciudad de Cúcuta en el país hermano Colombia. Sigan leyendo para saber cómo fue este viaje y el motivo del mismo.

A warm greeting and a big hug dear reader, #IAmMag and and today I want to tell you about my most recent trip to the beautiful city of Cúcuta in the sister country Colombia. Read on to find out what this trip was like and the reason for it.

¿Por qué viaje a Cúcuta?

Esta es una pregunta que muchos de mis familiares y allegados me hicieron, ya que mi viaje fue de ida y vuelta y como ya muchos sabrán, los venezolanos que suelen viajar a Colombia u otro país, es para irse y no volver en mucho tiempo, pero este no fue mi caso. Él motivo de este viaje fue para sacar un permiso que está dando migración de Colombia para los venezolanos, para que puedan estar mejor identificados en el país, trabajar, tener seguro de vida, beneficios, ayudas, etc. Este permiso lleva por nombre ”RUMV” y para sacarlo primero hay que pedir una cita vía online y seguir ciertos pasos para completar la solicitud (no entrare en detalles con ese proceso xd).

This is a question that many of my relatives and friends asked me, since my trip was a round trip and as many of you know, Venezuelans who usually travel to Colombia or another country, leave and do not return for a long time, but this was not my case. The reason for this trip was to get a permit that is giving migration of Colombia for Venezuelans, so that they can be better identified in the country, work, have life insurance, benefits, aid, etc. This permit is called "RUMV" and to get it you first have to make an appointment online and follow certain steps to complete the application (I will not go into details with that process xd).

Mi viaje inicio un día sábado con un delicioso desayuno junto a mi amiga Angely, quien me despidió con estas ricas empanadas y este cálido y agradable compartir, luego seguí hasta mi casa para terminar de alistar mi maleta, ducharme y esperar la hora para salir hacia la ciudad de San Cristóbal en el Estado Táchira Venezuela. Cuando se hizo la hora para salir, me dirigí hacia el terminal en el cual espere el bus y luego lo abordamos para iniciar el viaje de 16hrs, un viaje bastante largo y cansón por las continuas paradas que hacen las autoridades venezolanas para requisar a los pasajeros (y joderlos también).

My trip began on a Saturday with a delicious breakfast with my friend Angely, who saw me off with these delicious empanadas and this warm and pleasant sharing, then I continued to my house to finish packing my suitcase, shower and wait for the time to leave for the city of San Cristobal in the State of Tachira Venezuela. When it was time to leave, I went to the bus terminal where I waited for the bus and then we boarded it to start the 16hrs journey, a rather long and tiring trip due to the continuous stops made by the Venezuelan authorities to search the passengers (and fuck them too).

Luego de un agotador viaje de 16hrs por fin logre llegar al terminal de San Cristóbal del Táchira, luego de allí nos montaron en un taxi o como le dicen en el Táchira ”Carrito por puesto”, para seguir nuestro viaje hasta San Antonio, luego de otras 3hrs aproximadamente llegamos a San Antonio, ya luego aquí me toco caminar desde el terminal hasta la casa de mi tía que quedaba como a una 8 cuadras, ya luego cuando llegue mi tía me dio algo de almuerzo, tome una ducha y descanse del agotador viaje.

After an exhausting journey of 16hrs I finally managed to get to the terminal of San Cristobal del Táchira, after there they put us in a taxi or as they say in Táchira "Trolley per stand", to continue our journey to San Antonio, after another 3hrs approximately we arrived in San Antonio, and then here I had to walk from the terminal to my aunt's house which was about 8 blocks away, and then when I arrived my aunt gave me some lunch, I took a shower and rested from the exhausting journey.

Al día siguiente de mi llegada a la casa de mi tía en San Antonio continúe mi camino hacia el departamento (Estado) de Cúcuta en Colombia, para proseguir a realizar la diligencia que tenia pendiente, que era sacar el ”RUMV”, después de pasar el puente que conecta a Venezuela con Colombia logre llegar a Cúcuta, de ese otro lado me esperaba mi hermano mayor para llevarme a Migración del puente de tienditas para realizar todo el proceso para obtener el RUMV, una vez realizado todo esto mi hermano me fue a buscar y me llevo a su casa, allí me quede durante unos días.

The day after my arrival to my aunt's house in San Antonio I continued my way towards the department (State) of Cúcuta in Colombia, to continue to carry out the diligence that I had pending, which was to obtain the "RUMV", after passing the bridge that connects Venezuela with Colombia I managed to arrive to Cúcuta, On the other side my older brother was waiting for me to take me to Migration at the bridge of tienditas to carry out the whole process to obtain the RUMV, once all this was done my brother went to pick me up and took me to his house, there I stayed for a few days.

Mientras me quedé en casa mi hermano, quien vive junto a mi primo, mi tío, su esposa y mi primita, aprovechamos el momento para compartir, conversar y retomar un poco de ese tiempo que teníamos estando lejos, ya tenia casi 1 año sin ver a mi hermano y 2 años sin ver a mi primo y tío, realmente bastante tiempo que supimos provechar en tan solo un par de días. Junto a mi tío, su esposa, mi prima y mi primo salimos a pasear a un centro comercial en Cúcuta llamado ”Ventura Plaza” en el cual fuimos a una tienda de juegos y nos divertimos un rato, jugamos al hockey de mesa y llevamos a la niña a una sección de bebés donde juegan con peloticas, plastilinas y esas cositas jejeje, fue bastante entretenido.

While I stayed at home my brother, who lives with my cousin, my uncle, his wife and my little cousin, we took the time to share, talk and retake some of that time we had being away, I had almost 1 year without seeing my brother and 2 years without seeing my cousin and uncle, really quite a long time that we knew how to take advantage of in just a couple of days. Together with my uncle, his wife, my cousin and my cousin we went for a walk to a shopping centre in Cúcuta called "Ventura Plaza" in which we went to a game shop and we had fun for a while, we played table hockey and we took the girl to a baby section where they play with balls, plasticine and those little things hehehe, it was quite entertaining.

Luego de salir de la tienda de juegos fuimos a la feria de la comida del centro comercial para comer unos helados aprovechando que en una de las heladerías había promoción de 2x1 así que nos ahorramos dinero y comimos el doble xd, nos tomamos un par de fotos y luego como ya sabrán, tomamos rumbo a nuestro hogar, bastante satisfechos y empalagados jejeje.

After leaving the game shop we went to the food fair at the mall to eat some ice cream taking advantage of the 2 for 1 promotion at one of the ice cream shops so we saved money and ate double xd, we took a couple of pictures and then as you know, we headed home, quite satisfied and gooey hehehehe.

Después de esa salida me quede otra par de días para compartir otro poco con mi familia, mi primo me invito a comer unas pizzas y luego yo le invite a comer unas papas rellenas, caminamos un par de veces por las calles de Cúcuta conversando y recordando muchas cosas, los viejos tiempos, las salidas en Venezuela, los amigos y más, pero luego de que transcurriera esa semana, llego el día de mi regreso, me toco salir nuevamente un sábado para llegar el domingo a mi casa en Maracay, mi hermano mayor nuevamente me hizo el favor de llevarme a la parada del cruce del puente, donde me quede y pase caminando a Venezuela, cuando llegue nuevamente a casa de mi tía espere un par de horas para hacer tiempo y salir unos minutos antes de que saliera el ultimo bus para Maracay. Finalmente logre tomar el bus a Maracay, me lleve otro trajín de 16hrs, pero gracias a Dios llegue con bien a mi casa y sin ganas de volver a viajar así jajajaja, al menos por un tiempo xd.

After that departure I stayed another couple of days to share with my family, my cousin invited me to eat some pizzas and then I invited him to eat some stuffed potatoes, we walked a couple of times through the streets of Cúcuta talking and remembering many things, the old times, the outings in Venezuela, friends and more, but after that week passed, My older brother again did me the favour of taking me to the stop at the crossing of the bridge, where I stayed and walked to Venezuela, when I arrived again at my aunt's house I waited a couple of hours to make time and leave a few minutes before the last bus to Maracay. Finally I managed to take the bus to Maracay, it took me another 16hrs, but thank God I got home safely and I didn't want to travel like that again hahahaha, at least for a while xd.
