CHRISTMAS INITIATIVE 2022, EXCITEMENT COMES TO MY HOME [ENG - ESP]
Greetings and welcome dear members of #Family & Friends.
With the arrival of the Christmas holidays, the spirit of excitement and joy permeates every Venezuelan home, where December represents the month of family unity, celebration and sharing to the rhythm of the traditions that represent and characterize us and which we are accustomed to enjoy.

So Christmas represents that opportunity to remember the birth of our Father Jesus Christ and at the same time to internalize and project each of the objectives and unfinished goals that we have set for the year that is ending, but at the same time we are able to plan them to be able to fulfill them in the coming year.
Undoubtedly, Christmas represents that opportunity and hope of having finished a cycle and soon to start a new one, with the best attitude and the best disposition, learning to live our life as it touches us, so that we are able to adapt ourselves to the different circumstances that it presents us.

But beyond the above, I would like to focus in my writing on two fundamental approaches proposed to us by the #Family & Friends team and which state the following:
How do you usually celebrate Christmas and what particular traditions does your family have for the month?
To answer the previous question, it is necessary to take into account that I come from the state of Zulia and there, without a doubt, the gaita (bagpipes) cannot be absent since the beginning of December, consequently in my family we have been characterized because the sound of this music moves each of the days of our Christmas.
Generally speaking, we usually get together as a family so that everyone can contribute to the preparation of the hallacas, where we are able to share that family union, since everyone shares their experience and their grain of sand so that this traditional dish is never missing in our homes.

At the same time, sweets can not miss the so delighted chocho e' vaca or failing that a delicacy with milky and how to forget the rich lemon, these rich sweets accompanied by the hallacas and the company of the family, represent the gastronomic part of our land and at the same time allows us to foster that love and that union that must prevail over time. And that undoubtedly beyond the circumstances or scenarios that may have occurred in the year that is ending, the arrival of December represents a clean slate, where we give way to joy, hope and victory that we project in the coming year.
Consequently, in my family, which is very small, the traditions continue to be the hallacas accompanied by the respective sweets and above all the celebrations with each of the members of our home, there we prepare the Christmas tree and decorate our house according to our possibilities.
Likewise, on the night of the 24th we prepared our table with our delicious dishes (hallacas, salads, ham bread and the respective Pepsi), without forgetting the respective desserts and we shared this rich and wonderful dinner as a family.

The children have fun to the sound of music and get excited with the arrival of Santa Claus, since on the 25th we are used to Santa Claus coming down and giving each of the children the respective gift of the Christmas season, an act that represents a tradition and that we continue to do year after year.
Who do you look forward to sharing the holidays with and who else would you like to be with at the celebrations?
We must be aware that Christmas Eve is on December 24 and Christmas Day on December 25, these are the specific days to celebrate Christmas, however, in our land Christmas begins on the first day of December since the whole month becomes a reason for celebration.
Now, if I focus my writing to respond to the approach proposed by the team of families and friends, no doubt my heart wrinkles and fills with nostalgia, since since I have formed my family nucleus the celebrations of December 24 and 25 are centered on my wife, my children and my wife's parents, since due to distance issues my family nucleus that includes my mother and my sisters usually do not move to where we live, consequently I would like that these celebrations were present each one of them. I believe that in this way the family would be much more united and the Christmas spirit would undoubtedly fall on each one of us, likewise the celebration of December 31 is the opposite case because for this date I decide to move to my parents' house leaving my wife and children.
So there is a kind of a break on my person, celebrating with some and wanting others to be there so I would like these celebrations to be all together both my extended family and my specific nuclear family to make these celebrations much more meaningful.

Saludos y bienvenidos queridos miembros de #Family & Friends.
Con la llegada de las fiestas decembrinas, el espíritu de emoción y alegría se impregna en cada uno de los hogares venezolanos, dónde diciembre representa el mes de unión familiar de celebración y de compartir al ritmo de las tradiciones que nos representan y nos caracterizan y a las cuales estamos acostumbrados a disfrutar.

De manera que la Navidad representa esa oportunidad para recordar el nacimiento de nuestro Padre Jesucristo y al mismo tiempo para interiorizar y proyectar cada uno de los objetivos y las metas inconclusos que nos hemos trazado en el año que culmina, pero que al mismo tiempo somos capaces de planificarlas para poder cumplirlas en el año venidero.
Sin duda, la Navidad representa esa oportunidad y esperanza de haber finalizado un ciclo y próximamente iniciar uno nuevo, con la mejor actitud y la mejor disposición, aprendiendo a vivir nuestra vida al son que nos toque, de modo que seamos capaces de adaptarnos a las diferentes circunstancias que está nos presenta.

Pero más allá de lo anterior, me gustaría centrar en mi escrito en dos planteamientos fundamentales que nos propone el equipo de #Family & Friends y que establecen lo siguiente:
¿Cómo suele celebrar la Navidad y qué tradiciones particulares tiene su familia para el mes?
Para responder al planteamiento anterior, es necesario tener en cuenta que vengo del estado Zulia y allí sin duda alguna, la gaita desde que inicia el mes de diciembre no puede faltar, en consecuencia en mi familia nos hemos caracterizado porque al son de esta música se mueve cada uno de los días de nuestra Navidad.
En líneas generales, solemos reunirnos en familia de manera que cada uno pueda dar su aporte para la preparación de las hallacas, donde somos capaces de compartir esa unión familiar, ya que cada uno comparte su experiencia y su granito de arena para que este plato tan tradicional nunca falte en nuestros hogares.

Al mismo tiempo, los dulces no pueden faltar el tan deleitado chocho e' vaca o en su defecto un manjar con lechosa y como olvidarnos del rico limonsón, estos ricos dulces acompañados de las hallacas y la compañía de la familia, representan la parte gastronómica de nuestra tierra y al mismo tiempo nos permite fomentar ese amor y esa unión que debe prevalecer a lo largo del tiempo. Y que sin duda más allá de las circunstancias o de los escenarios que pudieron presentarse en el año que termina, la llegada de diciembre representa un borrón y cuenta nueva, donde damos paso a la alegría, la esperanza y a la victoria que proyectamos en el año venidero.
En consecuencia, en mi familia que es muy pequeña, las tradiciones siguen siendo las hallacas acompañadas de los dulces respectivos y sobre todo de las celebraciones con cada uno de los integrantes de nuestro hogar, allí preparamos el árbol de navidad y decoramos nuestra casa de acuerdo a nuestras posibilidades.
Asimismo, la noche del 24 preparamos nuestra mesa con nuestros ricos platos (hallacas, ensaladas, pan de jamón y la respectiva Pepsi), sin olvidar los postres respectivos y compartimos en familia esa rica y maravillosa cena.

Los niños se divierten al son de la música y se entusiasman con la llegada de Papá Noel, ya que el 25 estamos acostumbrados a que Santa Claus baja y le entrega a cada uno de los niños el regalo respectivo de la época decembrina, acto que representa una tradición y que lo seguimos haciendo año tras año.
¿Con quién esperas compartir las fiestas y con quién más te gustaría estar en las celebraciones?
Debemos estar consciente que la Nochebuena es el 24 de diciembre y el día de la Navidad el 25 de diciembre, estos son los días específicos para celebrar la navidad, sin embargo, en nuestra tierra la Navidad inicia el primer día de diciembre ya que todo el mes se convierte en motivo de celebración.
Ahora bien, sí centro mi escrito para dar respuesta al planteamiento que nos propone el equipo de familias y amigos, sin duda mi corazón se arruga y se llena de nostalgia, ya que desde que he formado mi núcleo familiar las celebraciones del 24 y 25 de diciembre se centra en mi esposa, mis hijos y los padres de mi esposa, ya que por cuestiones de distancias mi núcleo familiar que incluye mi madre y mis hermanas usualmente no se trasladan hacia donde nosotros vivimos, en consecuencia me gustaría que esa celebraciones estuviesen cada uno de ellos presentes.

Considero que de esta manera la familia estaría mucho más unida y el espíritu de navidad sin duda recaería en cada uno de nosotros, de igual forma la celebración del 31 de diciembre es el caso contrario porque para esta fecha yo decido trasladarme hacia casa de mis padres dejando a mi esposa y a mis hijos.
De manera que se produce una especie de ruptura sobre mi persona, celebrando con algunos y queriendo que los otros estén de modo que me gustaría que en estas celebraciones se encuentren todos reunidos tanto mi familia extendida, como mi núcleo familiar en específico para hacer que estás celebraciones sean mucho más significativas.

Por consiguiente, aprovecho la oportunidad para extender mi gratitud a todo el equipo de #Hive en especial al equipo detrás de Family & Friends, por esta grandiosa iniciativa deseándoles que tengan un feliz y próspero año nuevo.
De manera que sigamos creciendo dentro de la plataforma y que este proyecto de la web 3 siga convirtiéndose en esa verdadera punta de lanza la cual nos representa y nos hace conocer diferentes culturas y estilos de vidas que podamos ser capaces de crecer integralmente y de avanzar como una verdadera comunidad.
Recordando aquellas viejas palabras de John Maxwell dónde se expresa que solos podemos llegar rápido pero si trabajamos acompañados y en equipo podemos llegar más lejos.

Excelente entrada, me encanta el hecho de que tienen muchas tradiciones en familia. Amoooo las gaitas, es mi parte favorita de la navidad, su buena música.
