Hello I present to you Mr. Joyita, he was born today from an experiment that I had in mind for several days. I wanted to know what could come out of the photo of one of the pieces of jewelry I make, if I start playing with the image and how it would transform into a character; of course, without any particular plan, the process would be in charge of showing the way.

Hola les presento a Sr. Joyita, él nació hoy de un experimento que tenía en mente desde hace varios días. Quería saber que podría salir de la foto de una de las piezas de joyería que hago, si empiezo a jugar con la imagen y como se transformaría en un personaje; claro está, sin ningún plan determinado, el proceso se encargaría de ir mostrando el camino.

The piece of jewelry I chose was this one, it is a golden ring that has a bottle glass set in it, you know, recycling.

La pieza de joyería que escogí fue esta, se trata de un anillo dorado que tiene engastado un vidrio de botella, ya ustedes saben metiéndole al reciclaje.

In Photoshop I made the mirror effect and the silhouette of a face was formed.

En Photoshop hice el efecto de espejo y se formó la silueta de un rostro.

After cutting out part of the metal that holds the glass, I created the mouth, nose, eyebrows and also part of the eyes, I wanted the face to come out of the same image, I also put some shadow on the face to define some parts.

Después recortando parte del metal que sostiene el vidrio genere la boca, nariz, cejas y también en parte los ojos, quería que lo que componía el rostro saliera de la misma imagen, también le coloque algo de sombra al rostro para definir algunas partes.

Cut out the face, and then put another background and it looked like this.

Recorte el rostro, para después poner otro fondo y quedo así.

Mr. Joyita is elegant so I put his suit, then I placed one or another effect to give the paint finish to the painting, I used brushes to retouch and improve the result, finally I decided for the background of a blue pulling more to green ....

I hope you liked the process, I loved turning one of my handmade jewelry pieces into this fantastic and classy being, called Mr. Joyita.

El Sr. Joyita es elegante por eso le puse su traje, posteriormente coloqué uno que otro efecto para darle el acabado de pintura al cuadro, use pinceles para retocar y mejorar el resultado, por último me decidí por el fondo de un azul tirando más a verde....

Espero les haya gustado el proceso, a mí me encanto convertir una de mis piezas de joyería artesanal en este ser fantástico y con mucha clase, llamado Sr. Joyita.
