A surprise letter for our class teacher

It was teacher's day and so we planned to surprise our class teacher with a heartwarming letter and some gifts too.

Miss Jane dressed in a beautiful dress walked into the class gracefully, we allowed her to have a seat, and then boom, we all rushed to where she was seated, the class captain (which was me)brought out a letter written on behalf of the class and read aloud to the best teacher in the whole world.

Dear Miss Jane,
You are the most amazing teacher in the whole world, your kindness is rare, and you are diligent, compassionate, industrious, and generous.
You taught us never to give up on our dreams no matter how difficult they may seem.
You scold us with love so that we may grow to be responsible, your patience wowed us and we are glad we have a teacher like you.
This is a thank you letter, just to let you know we appreciate all the effort you are putting to teach us.
There are teachers but there is only one of you.

The next we did was shower her with all the gifts we'd bought for her, it was of little value but what made us happy was the appreciative spirit. She was excited and received the gift with so much enthusiasm, she prayed for us, took pictures with us, and even sang with us.

It was such a beautiful moment as the letter we read to her lit up her mood thru-out that day, she taught us with so much vigor and promise to keep the letter so well.

Months passed by, and it was children's day, and Miss Jane surprised us too.
She wrote us a beautiful letter too for the whole class and a letter for each one of us, Miss Jane knows us so well as she wrote our strengths as individuals in the letter.
This is what was in my letter.

Dear Chima,
You are brilliant, creative, and thoughtful however you fear failure and trying new things, I want you to know that you can be anything you wish to be if only you set your heart to it.
Keep soaring, I can't wait to see you at the top.
Thank you for being a thoughtful child in class, and always looking out for ways to help, May you be favored in all your endeavors.

We felt so special and that bonded us closer to her more than ever, the first letter I ever received was from my favorite class teacher, Miss Jane and I felt excited that someone cares about me.

I posted the letter on the side of the wall in my room, and up until this day, I read the letter every morning before going to school it always puts a smile on my face that someone appreciates my little acts of thoughtfulness and I am determined to face my fears and remain a good child, I want to make Miss Jane happy and proud.
