Christmas is the time where everything shines and I love this, so I have decided that my posts will be super Christmasy until December 25, you can't imagine the amount of posts related to these dates that I have read 😂 I think I am the opposite of the Grinch, maybe that would be...Mrs. Claus? 🤔 hahaha.

On Sundays I really enjoy writing, so today I decided to participate in the contest #62 of the Ladies of Hive community, weekly they give us 2 great questions to inspire us writing our posts, following my Christmas mood I'll sit down to answer them for you while I drink my delicious coffee ☕️

Navidad es la época donde todo brilla y esto me encanta, así que he decidido que mis post serán super navideños hasta el 25 de diciembre, no se imaginan la cantidad de entradas relacionadas a estas fechas que me he leído 😂 creo que soy todo lo contrario al Grinch, quizás eso sería...¿La señora Claus? 🤔 jajaja

Los domingos me agrada mucho redactar, así que el día de hoy decidí participar en el concurso #62 de la comunidad Ladies of Hive, semanalmente nos regalan 2 preguntas geniales para que nos inspiremos redactando nuestros post, siguiendo mi mood navideño me sentaré a responderlas para ustedes mientras me tomo mi delicioso café ☕️

1️⃣ Do you like to travel during vacations or stay close to home?

I consider myself a very traveler person, I love to travel especially by land because there is enough time to share in the car, in the road trip many anecdotes are created to remember year after year, even if uncomfortable things happen like getting in an accident, then we will remember it as a good moment lived, I really enjoy being the co-driver changing the music and seeing the landscapes around me, however, here in Venezuela we are very traditional and we enjoy a lot the preparation of our food for dinner with the family, something that when going on a trip is not so common to do, unless you travel to a relative's house.

I think my ideal answer would be, I like to travel during the vacations, but after the most important days, that is, I would really enjoy going on a trip the first or second day of January, perhaps to a tropical place to receive the new year with the best beach vibes and of course, with a good tan 😂.

1️⃣ ¿Te gusta viajar durante las vacaciones o quedarte cerca de casa?

Me considero una persona muy viajera, me encanta viajar sobre todo por tierra porque hay suficiente tiempo de compartir en el automóvil, en los road trip se crean muchas anécdotas para recordar año tras año, incluso si llegan a pasar cosas incómodas como quedarse accidentado, luego lo recordaremos como un buen momento vivido, disfruto muchísimo ir de copiloto cambiando la música y viendo los paisajes a mi al rededor, sin embargo, acá en Venezuela somos muy tradicionales y disfrutamos mucho de la preparación de nuestros alimentos para la cena en familia, cosa que al irse de viaje no es tan común hacer, a menos que viajes a la casa de algún familiar.

Creo que mi respuesta ideal sería, me gusta viajar durante las vacaciones, pero luego de los días más importantes, es decir, disfrutaría mucho irme de viaje el primer o segundo día de enero, quizás a un lugar tropical para recibir el nuevo año con las mejores vibras playeras y por supuesto, con un buen bronceado 😂

2️⃣ What is your favorite holiday food and why?

This answer is easy since my favorite Christmas food is ALL Christmas food 🤤 In my country the Christmas dish includes several things, the main element is the hallaca, a kind of tamale filled with a delicious stew of meat, chicken and pork, this is accompanied by a bread made by the Gods, stuffed with ham raisins and olives, sometimes bacon or cream cheese, I know it sounds weird but it tastes amazing. Venezuela is characterized for being a country full of cultures from the moment of its discovery so our food is like a mixture of many parts of the world.

Apart from the hallaca and ham bread, our Christmas dish also includes chicken salad, it is made with carrots and boiled potatoes, mayonnaise and shredded chicken, another delicacy of the Gods and finally baked pork leg or black roast. All these combinations make our dinner something incredible that leaves us all next year waiting for December to eat it again 🤤.

Even though I enjoy everything, I think if I had to choose I would go for the chicken salad, the ham bread and the black roast, already with those three things I could be happy, but thank God I don't have to choose so this December 24 and 31 I will eat my whole Christmas plate. I have really wanted it all 2021, I deserve it hahaha.

2️⃣ ¿Cuál es tu comida navideña favorita y por qué?

Esta respuesta es fácil ya que mi comida navideña preferida es TODA la comida navideña 🤤 En mi país el plato navideño incluye varias cosas, el elemento principal es la hallaca, una especie de tamal relleno de un delicioso guiso de carne, pollo y cerdo, esta se acompaña de un pan hecho por los Dioses, relleno de jamón pasas y aceitunas, a veces tocineta o queso crema, se que suena raro pero sabe increíble. Venezuela se caracteriza por ser un país lleno de culturas desde el momento de su descubrimiento así que nuestra comida es como una mezcla de muchas partes del mundo.

Aparte de la hallaca y el pan de jamón, nuestro plato navideño también incluye ensalada de pollo o gallina, se realiza con zanahoria y papas sancochadas, mayonesa y pollo o gallina deshilachado, otro manjar de los Dioses y finalmente pernil al horno o asado negro. Todas estas combinaciones hacen de nuestra cena algo increíble que nos deja todo el año siguiente esperando el mes de Diciembre para volver a comerlo 🤤

A pesar de que disfruto todo, creo que si tuviese que elegir me iría por la ensalada de pollo, el pan de jamón y el asado negro, ya con esas tres cosas podría ser feliz, pero gracias a Dios no tengo que elegir así que este 24 y 31 de Diciembre me comeré mi plato navideño completo. Realmente lo he deseado tooooodo el 2021, me lo merezco jajaja
