Hola papis y mamis de esta comunidad, hoy quiero comentarles nuestra experiencia visitando al pediatra y lo que aprendimos. Luna por lo general no ha sido una niña enfermiza, solo le ha dado resfriados comunes, y ha ido dos veces al pediatra a lo mucho, como algo de rutina.

Teníamos 2 años sin ir al pediatra la verdad y ya era hora de saber cómo va su desarrollo, si todo va por buen camino o debíamos cambiar alguna cosa, antes de ir a la consulta le hice exámenes de orina y de heces para que el doctor pudiera ver como está su organismo, no hizo falta de sangre porque ella está bien y bueno aún no quiero exponerla a ese examen si no hace falta jaja, no me preocupa que le saquen sangre, pero no quiero que ella le tenga miedo a esas cosas aún, no sé si me entienden jeje.
We had 2 years without going to the pediatrician the truth and it was time to know how her development is going, if everything is on track or we should change something, before going to the consultation I did urine and stool tests so the doctor could see how her body is, no blood was needed because she is fine and well I still do not want to expose her to that test if it is not necessary haha, I'm not worried about taking blood, but I do not want her to be afraid of those things yet, I do not know if you understand me hehe.
Luna no tiene un pediatra específico desde niña porque el último que la vio se fue del país, así que me recomendaron otro pediatra que tiene años en su profesión, ya con los exámenes en mano fuimos a nuestra consulta, el consultorio estaba muy hermoso, ambientado de manera infantil haciendo sentir a los niños más cómodos y en confianza, Luna no estaba asustada, pues ella no ha tenido ninguna experiencia negativa con doctores y yo tampoco le he inculcado miedo, sabemos que a veces esos comentarios de: “te voy a llevar al doctor para que te puye una nalga” no son buenos porque le creamos un miedo innecesario al niño, así que recomiendo evitar esos comentarios, al contrario, siempre le he hablado a Luna muy bien de los médicos y su profesión es muy importante para mejorar nuestra salud.
Luna does not have a specific pediatrician since she was a child because the last one who saw her left the country, so I was recommended another pediatrician who has years in his profession, already with the exams in hand we went to our consultation, the office was very beautiful, set in a childlike way making the children feel more comfortable and confident, Luna was not scared, because she has not had any negative experience with doctors and I have not instilled fear, we know that sometimes those comments of: "I am going to take you to the doctor to get a buttock" are not good because we create unnecessary fear in the child, so I recommend avoiding those comments, on the contrary, I have always spoken to Luna very well of doctors and their profession is very important to improve our health.
Llegamos media hora antes de nuestra cita, por lo que nos metieron en una pequeña sala de espera con juguetes y mesitas para que los niños se distraigan mientras esperamos, lo cual me encanto, ella estaba cómoda y tranquila jugando, luego nos tocó entrar, el doctor es un amor, converso con Luna, prácticamente se hicieron amigos, él pensaría que Luna estaba asustada, pero luego se dio cuenta de que ella estaba muy animada y tranquila, por lo que procedió a pesar, medirla, medir su cabeza, hacerle tacto en el torso del cuerpo, y en el cuello, en conclusión reviso todo y lo anotaba en la ficha (o expediente) de Luna. Me hizo muchas preguntas sobre mi embarazo, la lactancia que recibió Luna, si su desarrollo motriz fue normal, me agrado mucho que hiciera preguntas detalladas de todo lo referente a Luna desde el embarazo hasta la actualidad y lo iba anotando en su computadora.

She asked me many questions about my pregnancy, the breastfeeding Luna received, if her motor development was normal, I really liked that she asked detailed questions about everything related to Luna from pregnancy to the present and she was writing it down in her computer.
Pasamos a los exámenes, el de heces arrojaba algunas lombrices características de niños, así que se debía atacar eso prontamente, el de orina arrojaba que tenía salida de proteínas y de calcio, la perdida de calcio le llamo la atención, pero luego me mostró unas gráficas de patrones de crecimiento, me llamo mucho la atención estas gráficas, también llamadas curvas de crecimiento, referencias tomadas de la OMS (Organización Mundial de la Salud), donde se puede llevar un control de crecimiento de los niños y niñas en su desarrollo, el doctor me explico que hay medidas que determinan si el niño o niña lleva un crecimiento saludable, esta medida puede variar porque no todos los niños son iguales, pero la OMS muestra una curva desde una media baja y una media alta en la que determina que el niño o niña se está desarrollando bien, las medidas son diferentes según su sexo.

Esto me llamo mucho la atención, pues me gusta todo lo que signifiqué ciencia jeje, de hecho, al llegar a casa me puse a investigar más sobre el tema, sorry, soy una nerd siempre me decían mis compañeros de clases jajaja, en fin, la curva de crecimiento de Luna según su edad, su peso, altura y circunferencia cefálica estaba muy bien, estaba por encima de la media, es decir, Luna entra en la media alta, por lo que la perdida calcio en la orina pudo haberse debido algún alimento más no algo propio de ella, pues un niño que esté perdiendo calcio constantemente estaría teniendo un crecimiento irregular fuera de la curva, entonces por esa parte no había que preocuparse, aunque para descartar cualquier cosa me mando hacerle otro tipo de examen de orina específico para eso.
This called my attention, because I like everything that I meant science hehe, in fact, when I got home I started to investigate more about the subject, sorry, I'm a nerd always told me my classmates hahaha, anyway, Luna's growth curve according to her age, her weight, height and head circumference was very well, was above average, ie, Luna is in the high average, so the loss of calcium in the urine could have been due to some food but not something of her own, because a child who is constantly losing calcium would be having an irregular growth outside the curve, so for that part there was no need to worry, although to rule out anything I had her do another type of urine test specifically for that.

A la mayoría de las mamás se nos ha ido un pediatra del país en mi caso he tenido que cambiar dos veces de médicos, que bueno que tu pequeña esté creciendo sana y mi consejo personal no olvides desparacitarla cada 6 meses y al momento de realizar el examen de orina has una buena toma de la muestra aveces nuestra manipulación de la misma arroja falsos resultados.
Bueno, todos en casa nos desparasitamos dos veces al año, incluso teníamos 2 meses que ya nos habíamos desparasitado todos y sin embargo, ella tenía, el doctor me dice que posiblemente sea el agua. Aquí el agua es un problema, la compramos pero igual no sabemos si es confiable. En cuanto a la orina, si me dijo que le hiciera el examen de la segunda orina en ayuno, para descartar perdida de calcio.
