[ENG-ESP] Sharing with my family | Compartiendo con mi familia

Hello dear community, welcome to my blog!
Today is a very special family day because we are together and having fun in a very nice and typical way: sharing a delicious lunch, after more than a year of pandemic in which, whose restrictions did not allow us to meet as we used to do, we agreed to share again.

Hola querida comunidad, ¡Bienvenidos a mi blog!.
Hoy es un día muy especial en familia porque estamos reunidos y divirtiendonos de una forma muy amena y muy típica: compartiendo un rico almuerzo, despues de más de un año de pandemia en el que, cuyas restricciones no nos permitió reunirnos como lo solíamos hacer, nos pusimos de acuerdo para nuevamente compartir.

I am Venezuelan and currently live in the State of Apure, where most of my family lives and in this plains state there is something that always unites us and that is food, so, when it comes to sharing we do it with a delicious meal. This time we agreed to make some cachapas, which is my favorite food and it is a typical food of our state and right now we are entering the corn season, which is the main ingredient of our dish.

Yo soy Venezolana y actualmente vivo en el Estado Apure, dónde vive la mayoría de mi familia y en éste estado llanero hay algo que siempre nos une y es la comida, así que, cuando se trata de compartir lo hacemos con una deliciosa comida. En ésta oportunidad acordamos hacer unas cachapas, que es mi comida favorita y es una comida típica de nuestro estado y justamente ahora estamos entrando en la temporada de el maíz, que es el ingrediente principal de nuestro plato.

This has been a wonderful weekend of union and family reunion, an afternoon of laughter, anecdotes, experiences and family memories.

Éste ha sido un fin de semana maravilloso de unión y reencuentro familiar, una tarde de risas, anécdotas, experiencias y recuerdos familiares.

And it was also a moment in which we realized how fortunate we are as a family because the pandemic left pain and sadness in the hearts of many families who have not yet finished going through a bitter pill, but we thank God we have been blessed not to have lost any member of our family group and that is a great reason to be deeply grateful to God for his protection and for this pleasant moment.

Y también fue un momento en el que nos dimos cuenta de lo afortunados que somos como familia porque la pandemia dejó dolor y tristeza en el corazón de muchas familias que aún no han terminado de pasar un fuerte trago amargo, pero nosotros gracias a Dios hemos tenido la bendición de no haber perdido a ningún miembro de nuestro grupo familiar y ese es un gran motivo para estar profundamente agradecidos con Dios por su protección y por éste grato momento.

Apart from having fun, thanking and remembering past times, we shared the preparation of this succulent dish and we enjoyed this delicious lunch, hoping that there will be other family reunions.

Aparte de divertirnos, agradecer y rememorar tiempos pasados compartimos la preparación de éste suculento plato y nos deleitamos con éste rico almuerzo, esperando que hayan otros encuentros familiares.

In the photos we can see my beautiful niece that I miss every moment I am not with her, my grandmother, uncles, my mom, a cousin, and others that unfortunately do not appear in the photos. Wishing for this moment to be repeated and it will be soon.

En las fotos podemos apreciar a mi sobrina preciosa que extraño cada momento en el que no estoy con ella, a mi abuela, tíos, mi mamá, una prima, y otros que lamentablemente nos aparece en las fotos. Deseando que este momento se repita y sea pronto.
