Personally I have always thought about what would happen if we humans were able to change any fragment of our past, if so, most of us could be considered as: perfect, happy, successful, able to do everything right and without mistakes. It may sound too tempting, but there would also be the other side of the coin: people who would execute their misdeeds to perfection, build their own empires by knowing the weaknesses of their enemies, extinguish the obstacles that hinder them from getting what they want.

Nuestra identidad es pulida por cada decisión, error, aprendizaje y acontecimiento que hemos tenido en el pasado. Por ejemplo, si cometemos algún error académico, nos ayudara a impulsarnos para dedicarnos más y lograr una buena nota; si tuvimos malas experiencias con nuestros padres, aprenderíamos de ello para mejorar la forma de educar con nuestros propios hijos. Lo que quiero decir es que los errores o las perdidas son muy importantes en la construcción de lo que queremos ser en un futuro, pero si tuviéramos aquella habilidad de volver a revivir las situaciones traumáticas o hirientes, nos volveríamos unas personas insatisfechas con cada intento de cambiar las cosas, a tal grado de que ni con 1,000,000 de veces viviendo aquella situación nos conformaríamos y pagaríamos el gran precio de perder aquello que nos costó trabajo construir en el futuro.
