A relic from my point of view.
The city where I live is full of history, culture, great scenery and good people.
Among the history that lives in it I bring you the "Rio Caroní" airplane (the only one of its kind that still exists in the world), it is installed at the Tomás de Heres National Airport in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela.
The special thing about this machine is that it was flown by the renowned pilot Jimmie Angel, who discovered and was in charge of divulging the highest waterfall in the world, the Salto Angel or Kerepakupai Vená in Pemón.
This exemplary monoplane airplane is a Metal Aircraft G2 Flamingo, registration number NC-9487 with capacity for eight passengers, manufactured in Cincinnati (Ohio) in 1929 and baptized with the name of "Río Caroní".
Note: The Venezuelan Government declared it a "National Historic Monument" in 1964.
