[ESP-ENG] TRABAJAR, APRENDER, COMER, DESCANSAR Y JUGAR | WORK, LEARN, EAT, REST AND PLAY
Firstly a warm greeting to all readers/curators reading this post, even though the title may be a bit confusing or sound like a sequel to "Eat. Pray Love." Today I want to talk to you about something that has affected us all at some time and that perhaps at the time we did not realize, I want to talk to you about exhaustion or mental fatigue and to imply that this can be equally or more problematic than physical fatigue.

¿QUÉ ES EL CANSANCIO O AGOTAMIENTO MENTAL?
WHAT IS MENTAL FATIGUE OR EXHAUSTION?
Well, depending on the capacity of your computer you will be lucky if it doesn't explode, the same happens with our brain, we must remember that everything has a limit and people are no exception.
Then when our brain can no longer cope with its loads and processes mental fatigue occurs, which is a state in which you could say that our brain shuts down and makes a restart, but this can take time.

SYMPTOMS OF MENTAL FATIGUE
Basically we enter a state that I call "living by inertia." That is to say we live every day just because we have to, there is no motivation or anything that makes us enjoy the good moments.
Normally this is confused with depression, but I will talk about that later.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
POSIBLES CAUSAS
Also having experienced one or many overwhelming situations in succession or having a run of bad days can cause mental exhaustion.
As I said there are many possible causes for this and it is because as I said we all have a limit and sometimes just a drop is enough to spill the glass.
PS: I love you surface tension, you are one of my favorite physical concepts.

MENTAL FATIGUE OR DEPRESSION? HOW TO TELL THEM APART?
¿CANSANCIO MENTAL O DEPRESIÓN? ¿CÓMO DIFERENCIARLOS?
In other words, depression is a mental state, sometimes perpetual, that requires constant medication and treatment, while mental exhaustion is, as I said before, a kind of reboot of the system. It may well be treated so that it does not take so long to return to our usual rhythm of life, or you can just wait for everything to return to normal. Whereas with depression it's not so simple.
I don't want to get too much into this because it is a somewhat delicate subject and I think it would be better to have a post dedicated to this disease.

CAN MENTAL EXHAUSTION BE TREATED?
¿SE PUEDE TRATAR EL AGOTAMIENTO MENTAL?
The first thing is to find something you like and make you happy and then just do it, as I said one of the biggest causes of mental exhaustion is stress, so doing something you like will help you to drain all that you have accumulated in a healthier way.
The second thing would be to get in touch with nature, look for a good place with a beautiful natural landscape, quiet and where you will not be disturbed and if you can take a relaxing nap in that place much better, that will bring you back to life.
Third, look for the solution within yourself, again in a quiet space where no one will disturb you, meditate and look inside you for the source of your problem and find the way to solve it.

I got that from the training method of the great martial arts master Muten Roshi, he says these words to Krillin and Goku during their training and the truth is that he is right.
You have to work, you have to learn, you have to eat, you have to rest and you also have to play.
This phrase has much more wisdom than it seems, since Roshi here is talking about that in this life we must find a balance, not only between working and learning, which would be our obligations, resting and eating, which would be our needs and finally playing, which would be our rights.
I understand this phrase to mean that we must learn to balance our obligations with our needs, but also with our rights. And we often forget the latter for the first two or vice versa.
Finally I would like to say that since sexuality is no longer a taboo lately, I think that the next thing should be mental health, since this is just as important as our physical health and expressing that you have a problem that comes from your mind or your subconscious should not be something you keep to yourself.
