¡Saludos a todos en Alien Art Hive! Es mi primera vez compartiendo en esta comunidad, se trata de una ilustración que hice basada en la novela "El extraño caso del Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". Es una novela corta escrita por Robert Louis Stevenson y publicada por primera vez en inglés en 1886, que trata acerca de un abogado, Gabriel John Utterson, que investiga la extraña relación entre su viejo amigo, el Dr. Henry Jekyll, y el misántropo Edward Hyde.

Greetings to everyone on Alien Art Hive! It is my first time sharing in this community, it is an illustration I made based on the novel "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It is a short novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson and first published in English in 1886, which is about a lawyer, Gabriel John Utterson, who investigates the strange relationship between his old friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and misanthropist Edward Hyde.

Jekyll es un científico que crea una poción o bebida que tiene la capacidad de separar la parte más humana del lado más maléfico de una persona. Cuando Jekyll bebe esta mezcla se convierte en Edward Hyde, un criminal capaz de cualquier atrocidad. Según se cuenta en la novela, en nosotros siempre coexisten el bien y el mal; por eso, Hyde, símbolo de todo lo perverso, resulta repugnante a todo aquel que lo ve.

Jekyll is a scientist who creates a potion or drink that has the ability to separate the most human part from the most evil side of a person. When Jekyll drinks this mixture, he becomes Edward Hyde, a criminal capable of any atrocity. According to the novel, good and evil are always inside us; that is why Hyde, a symbol of everything perverse, is disgusting to everyone who sees it.
