Hola Hivers,

Hoy les traigo arte callejero en Caracas. Después de compartir con los amigos de @hiveccs en su actividad de Hive Integra en el Parque del Este, nos fuimos a pasear por Chacao para almorzar. En nuestra caminata al restaurante Makoto (@makotosushidelivery), ubicado en la Calle Cecilio Acosta de Chacao, nos topamos con un hermoso mural, justo al frente del local.

La obra se llama Luna del artista urbano Wolfgang Salazar Badsura que muestra las diferentes emociones que podemos sentir en una relación. En su cuenta de Instagram, @badsura dice que “donde el amor trasciende más allá de la materia”. Fue inaugurado el 28 de agosto de 2022.

Además, esta pieza está inspirada en la canción Luna de la banda Anakena de sus dos álbumes Carita Feliz (2019) y Carita Triste (2022), temas que tocan justamente las diferentes etapas de una relación. Su instagram es @anakenamusica y es una banda venezolana de pop caribeño fundada en el 2016 por Santiago de la Fuente, Carlos “Mara” González, Mikel Maury y Antonio Romero.

Urban art in Chacao

Hello Hivers,

Today I bring you street art in Caracas. After sharing with the friends of @hiveccs in their Hive Integra activity in Parque del Este, we went for a walk in Chacao for lunch. On our walk to Makoto restaurant (@makotosushidelivery), located on Cecilio Acosta Street in Chacao, we stumbled upon a beautiful mural, right in front of the place.

The work is called Luna by urban artist Wolfgang Salazar Badsura that shows the different emotions we can feel in a relationship. On his Instagram account, @badsura says that "where love transcends beyond matter". It was inaugurated on August 28, 2022.

In addition, this piece is inspired by the song Luna by the band Anakena from their two albums Carita Feliz (2019) and Carita Triste (2022), songs that touch precisely on the different stages of a relationship. Their instagram is @anakenamusica and is a Venezuelan Caribbean pop band founded in 2016 by Santiago de la Fuente, Carlos "Mara" González, Mikel Maury and Antonio Romero.
