¡Hola a todos y bienvenidos a mi nuevo post! El día de hoy quiero comentarles mi experiencia en la Caracas Blockchain Week 2023, un grandioso evento de networking para aprender sobre la Web3 y las criptomonedas. 😁😁 Aprendí mucho durante este viaje y conocí a muchas personas maravillosas.🤗

Estoy muy agradecido de poder estar aquí ya que cuando hicieron un giveaway de entradas en el canal de Telegram, pude obtener dos entradas generales para mi mamá y para mí, y dije esto es un señal, tengo que ir y ver a todos mis amigos de Hive que irían, me emocioné aún más, las personas con quienes he interactuado en Hive, en Telegram y en Discord ¡Quiero conocerlos en persona! 🤩

Hello everyone and welcome to my new post! Today I want to tell you about my experience at Caracas Blockchain Week 2023, a great networking event to learn about Web3 and cryptocurrencies. 😁😁 I learned a lot during this trip and met many wonderful people.🤗

I'm so grateful to be able to be here as when they did a ticket giveaway on the Telegram channel, I was able to get two general admission tickets for my mom and I, and I said this is a sign, I have to go and see all my Hive friends who would be going, I got even more excited, the people I've interacted with on Hive, on Telegram and on Discord I want to meet them in person! 🤩

Also, I decided to enter the @WhisprNews contest and I was lucky enough to win a VIP Ticket and I said I can't miss this event! 🔥 🔥

El siguiente paso fue como llegar, reunimos el dinero necesario y nos fuimos en un bus hasta Caracas, el bus estaba apunto de salir. Llegamos justo a tiempo, nos subimos y partimos del terminal a las 7:00 AM. Luego en el terminal de La Bandera pedimos un Ridery hasta la UCAB, llegamos a las 10:05 AM, yo estaba preocupado si aún podríamos entrar 😅

The next step was how to get there, we gathered the necessary money and took a bus to Caracas, the bus was about to leave. We arrived just in time, got on the bus and left the terminal at 7:00 AM. Then at La Bandera bus terminal we asked for a Ridery to UCAB, we arrived at 10:05 AM, I was worried if we could still get in 😅.

La Universidad Católica Andrés Bello es un lugar muy bonito, toda una ciudad universitaria, con hermosos jardines, enormes salones y llena de obras de arte. Fue un ambiente muy agradable, lleno de estudiantes y personas de diferentes partes del país, todos reunidos para este gran evento.

The Universidad Católica Andrés Bello is a very nice place, a whole university town, with beautiful gardens, huge halls and full of pieces of art. It was a very nice atmosphere, full of students and people from different parts of the country, all gathered for this great event.

Cuando llegamos a la entrada el primero que vi en la fila fue @dimeilaz, ¡OMG! El primer Hiver que veo en persona, volteo y estaban llegando @valeriavalentina, @lililuki y @lqch y en la puerta ya estaba esperando @ladyunicorn. Los seguí, fuimos a la entrada del evento, y escaneamos nuestras entradas, nos dieron nuestro lanyard de Hive y la CBW, me dieron una bolsa de Hive y nuestros brazaletes ¡Fue genial! Sentí esa emoción de pertenecer a Hive y mi primer merch de la blockchain.

When we got to the entrance the first one I saw in line was @dimeilaz, OMG! The first Hiver I see in person, I turn around and @valeriavalentina, @lilililuki and @lqch were arriving and at the door @ladyunicorn was already waiting. I followed them, we went to the event's entrance, and scanned our tickets, they gave us our Hive lanyard and the CBW, they gave me a Hive bag and our bracelets It was great! I felt that excitement of belonging to Hive and my first Hive merch.

Luego entramos al Libertex Stage, un auditorio enorme y muy bonito, para ver las palabras de Bienvenida de la Caracas Blockchain Week 2023, con los anfitriones Anibal Garrido, Leury Fernandes, Ernesto Contreras y Ezio Rojas. Luego inició la charla sobre "Se acabó el Bear Market: ¿Nuevo ATH en Bitcoin este 2023?".

Then we entered the Libertex Stage, a huge and very nice auditorium, to see the welcoming remarks of the Caracas Blockchain Week 2023, with the hosts Anibal Garrido, Leury Fernandes, Ernesto Contreras and Ezio Rojas. Then he started the talk on "Bear Market is over: New ATH in Bitcoin this 2023?".

Luego me desplacé rápido de salón para ver la presentación de los proyectos del Hackathon crypto de Think & Dev y Speezard, en donde pude escuchar el Pitch de los diferentes equipos, interesado en conocer sus proyectos y cómo utilizan la tecnología blockchain para satisfacer necesidades. Aquí pude conocer los proyectos de:

• Remorapp.
• Istos.
• Enhanced Altruism Protocol.
• Web3Mart.
• y Fugol.
  Fue unos pitches muy interesantes porque tuvieron que definir quiénes son, qué problemática resuelven o qué necesidad satisfacen, el tamaño del mercado, el equipo que lo conforma y que buscan de los posibles inversores, me dió muchas ideas para iniciar una startup.

Then I moved quickly from room to room to see the presentation of the projects of the Hackathon crypto of Think & Dev and Speezard, where I could listen to the Pitch of the different teams, interested in knowing their projects and how they use the blockchain technology to meet needs. Here I was able to meet the projects of:

• Remorapp.
• Istos.
• Enhanced Altruism Protocol.
• Web3Mart.
• and Fugol.

It was an exciting pitch because they had to define who they are, what problem they solve or what need they satisfy, the size of the market, the team that makes it up, and what they are looking for from potential investors, it gave me many ideas to start a startup.

Posteriormente, cambiando de Stage pude ver que estaba una ponencia de Hive y cuando veo, estaba en inglés, me quedé súper sorprendido, porque habían venido Hivers desde el extranjero y tengo la oportunidad de escucharlo. Aquí es donde conocí en persona a Matt Starkerz (@starkerz), una gran persona y dije ¡Tengo que hablar con el! Dictaba una presentación sobre la Interoperabilidad de la Blockchain de Hive, siendo traducido en vivo por @dimeilaz ¡Grandiosa presentación, buen duo!

Later, changing Stage I could see that there was a presentation about Hive and when I saw it, it was in English, I was super surprised, because they had come Hivers from abroad and I had the opportunity to listen to it. This is where I met in person Matt Starkerz (@starkerz), a great person and I said I had to talk to him! He was giving a presentation on Hive Blockchain Interoperability, being translated live by @dimeilaz Great presentation, great duo!

En el primer día del evento también pude conocer a @frankches, a quien fue fácil de identificar, es idéntico a su avatar 😁, es una persona bastante auténtica y amigable, también pude conocer y tomarme fotos con @valeriavalentina, @lililuki y @lqch, visitantes de Anzoátegui y Monagas, tres chicas con una gran energía, amables y con muy buenas vibras.

On the first day of the event I was also able to meet @frankches, who was easy to identify, he is identical to his avatar 😁, he is a very authentic and friendly person, I was also able to meet and take pictures with @valeriavalentina, @lililuki and @lqch, visitors from Anzoátegui and Monagas, three girls with great energy, kind and with very good vibes.

Este es un evento en donde provoca quedarse, sin embargo ya se hacía bastante tarde, así que pedimos otro Ridery y recorrimos casi toda la ciudad de Caracas para ir al apartamento de mi tía, donde nos hospedamos mi mamá y yo. Me gustó ver las luces de la ciudad por la noche.

Ese día dormí un poco preocupado, porque no sabía como volveríamos a Valencia a tiempo, ya que nos gastamos el dinero que llevamos 😱 Casi nos quedamos varados en Caracas (que no esta mal, a menos que tengas que ir a trabajar el lunes jajaj), pero afortunadamente recibí mi pago del trabajo en la mañana del día siguiente, así que libres de preocupación pudimos disfrutar el segundo día.

This is an event where it is a good place to stay, however, it was getting late, so we ordered another Ridery and walked almost all over the city of Caracas to go to my aunt's apartment, where my mom and I were staying. I enjoyed seeing the city lights at night.

That day I slept a bit worried, because I didn't know how we would get back to Valencia on time, since we spent the money we carried 😱 We almost got stranded in Caracas (which is not bad, unless you have to go to work on Monday hahaha), but luckily I got my pay from work in the morning the next day, so worry free we were able to enjoy the second day.

Durante el segundo día la Caracas Blockchain Week pude asistir a un panel titulado: "Educando a todos los públicos sobre Bitcoin y la Web3" moderado por la talentosa @alteramelia, una hiver a quién quería conocer desde hace mucho, ya que habíamos interactuado a través de Telegram, fue una gran moderadora de este conversatorio.

During the second day the Caracas Blockchain Week I was able to attend a panel titled: "Educating all audiences about Bitcoin and Web3" moderated by the talented @alteramelia, a hiver who I wanted to meet for a long time, as we had interacted through Telegram, she was a great moderator of this conversation.

En este panel pude ver al emprendedor Carlos Aguilera, profesor de la UNITEC, la universidad donde estudié y Fundador de @codepeques, una empresa cuya misión es enseñar a los niños a programar y elaborar proyectos de tecnología de una manera práctica y divertida.

In this panel I was able to see the entrepreneur Carlos Aguilera, professor at UNITEC, the university where I studied and Founder of @codepeques, a company whose mission is to teach children to program and develop technology projects in a practical and fun way.

Asimismo, pude ver la grandiosa ponencia de César Díaz, mejor conocido como @filoriologo, titulada "Hive, la experiencia de lo imposible", en donde nos explicó las ventajas de la blockchain de Hive, destacando la descentralización, la resistencia, la censura y la gobernanza.

Likewise, I was able to see the great presentation by César Díaz, better known as @filoriologo, entitled "Hive, the experience of the impossible", where he explained the advantages of the Hive blockchain, highlighting decentralization, resilience, censorship and governance.

Otro conversatorio VIP al que pude asistir fue "¿Cómo armar tu propuesta y buscar financiamiento en el mundo tecnológico?" y fue genial porque estaba nuestra amiga @arlettemsalase y nuevamente Carlos Aguilera, moderado por Sayna Sarmiento, en donde escuchando consejos para armar nuestro Pitch Deck y obtener financiamiento, resaltando la importancia de no tener miedo a preguntar y asistir a este tipo de eventos, para rodearte de personas con las mismas ganas de emprender y aprender.

Another VIP conversation I was able to attend was "How to put together your proposal and seek funding in the tech world?" and it was great because there was our friend @arlettemsalase and again Carlos Aguilera, moderated by Sayna Sarmiento, where listening to tips to put together our Pitch Deck and get funding, highlighting the importance of not being afraid to ask and attend this kind of events, to surround yourself with people with the same desire to undertake and learn.

En el segundo día pude conocer a @crisch23, una mujer amigable y con una hermosa personalidad, ella me dió una calida bienvenida y me presentó a varios hivers como @yonnathang, ambos integrantes de la comunidad de Hispapro, y a @ylich el Ruso (здравствуйте, Ильич!), con quienes pude tomarme una foto, ¡Un gran gusto conocerlos!

On the second day I was able to meet @crisch23, a friendly woman with a beautiful personality, she gave me a warm welcome and introduced me to several hiveans like @yonnathang, both members of the Hispapro community, and @ylich the Russian (здравствуйте, Ильич!), with whom I was able to take a picture, a great pleasure to meet them!

Por otra parte, pude conocer en persona a @soyunasantacruz, con quien pude interactuar previamente gracias a los acertijos semanales que compartía y en las curaciones de Discord. Asimismo, durante la Caracas Blockchain Week pude conocer en persona al emprendedor y developer @enriquevee, al cual he asistido a sus valiosos webinars para construir en Hive, a él cual le comenté mi interés en construir una Dapp en Hive y me recomendó que empezara a compartir los avances del proyecto con la comunidad.

On the other hand, I was able to meet in person @soyunasantacruz, with whom I was able to interact previously thanks to the weekly riddles he shared and in Discord healings. Also, during the Caracas Blockchain Week I was able to meet in person the entrepreneur and developer @enriquevee, whom I have attended his valuable webinars to build on Hive, to whom I told him about my interest in building a Dapp on Hive and he recommended me to start sharing the progress of the project with the community.

Asimismo, conocí a @jonsnow1983, sucrénse y moderador de EspaVlog, el cual me dió una cordial bienvenida al acercarme al stand de Hive y pude asistir a un conversatorio en donde el estuvo presente como speaker y pudimos recibir algunos Consejos para empezar en crypto y estar en la Web3.

Also, I met @jonsnow1983, sucrénse and moderator of EspaVlog, who gave me a warm welcome when I approached the Hive booth and I was able to attend a conversation where he was present as a speaker and we could receive some tips to get started in crypto and be on the Web3.

Tambión pude conocer a @karelysk89 e @hylene74, unas chicas muy amables que han venido desde Sucre y me dieron muy buenos consejos para mis publicaciones en Hive y para hacer networking, contento de que hayamos podido coincidir en este lugar ¡Muchas gracias por los consejos!

I was also able to meet @karelysk89 and @hylene74, very nice girls who came all the way from Sucre and gave me very good advice for my Hive publications and networking, glad we were able to meet in this place, thanks a lot for the advice!

Otras grandiosas Hivers que pude conocer fueron @enmymente y @yulilemus, con quienes pude tomarme fotos y compartir ciertos espacios. ¡Fue un placer verlas en la Caracas Blockchain Week y espero poder compartir más en el futuro!

Other great Hivers I was able to meet were @enmymente and @yulilemus, with whom I was able to take pictures and share certain spaces. It was a pleasure to see them at Caracas Blockchain Week and I hope to be able to share more in the future!

Adicionalmente, pude conocer en persona @arlettemsalase, una gran amiga, cariñosa y amable. Tuve la oportunidad de asistir a dos de sus ponencias, en donde escuchamos consejos de cómo proteger nuestras claves y nuestros activos, explorando el concepto de ser custodio de nuestra propidedad digital, adicionalmente, conocí a la famosa @lunaticanto, una chica súper creativa, valenciana como yo.

Additionally, I was able to meet in person @arlettemsalase, a great friend, loving and kind. I had the opportunity to attend two of her presentations, where we heard tips on how to protect our passwords and our assets, exploring the concept of being custodian of our digital property, additionally, I met the famous @lunaticanto, a super creative girl, Valencian like me.

Durante este evento pude conseguir mis primeros stickers de Hive entre ellos los de las comunidades de HispaPro, Leofinance, Hive Red Carpet y de LikeTu. También pude obtener mi bolsa de Hive y mi lanyard de la Caracas Blockchain Week.

During this event I was able to get my first Hive stickers among them the HispaPro, Leofinance, Hive Red Carpet and LikeTu communities. I was also able to get my Hive bag and my **Caracas Blockchain Week lanyard.

Finalmente, la Caracas Blockchain terminó con un show musical en el Libertex Stage, unas gaitas y escuchamos la hermosa canción de Venezuela y las palabras de cierre de los organizadores. Grandioso trabajo hizo el equipo organizador. 👏👏

Ver a mis amigos crear contenido y ser conferencistas me dio mucha inspiración. Mi reto para el próximo año será convertirme en un Speaker en la Caracas Blockchain Week 2024, tomar más fotos, grabar mejores videos y compartir mucho más con mi hermosa comunidad. Sigamos aprendiendo, creando y compartiendo.

Este viaje ha sido una gran dosis de adrenalina. ¡Ir a la Caracas Blockchain Week 2023 y compartir con mis amigos de Hive, fue una experiencia inolvidable! Mi mamá y yo aprendimos muchas cosas. Gracias a Dios por esta oportunidad. Me la pasé muy bien ¡Qué se repita!

Finally, the Caracas Blockchain ended with a musical show at the Libertex Stage, some bagpipes and we listened to the beautiful song of Venezuela and the closing words of the organizers. Great job did the organizing team. 👏👏

Watching my friends create content and be speakers gave me a lot of inspiration. My challenge for next year will be to become a Speaker at Caracas Blockchain Week 2024, take more photos, record better videos and share much more with my beautiful community. Let's keep learning, creating and sharing.

This trip has been a great dose of adrenaline. Going to Caracas Blockchain Week 2023 and sharing with my friends from Hive, was an unforgettable experience! My mom and I learned a lot of things. Thank God for this opportunity. I had a great time. May it be repeated!
