Does It Worth Explaining to the Non Believer?

I opened my hive (steem) account quite sometimes ago, long before the chain finally split. But I hardly make any great post, or posting regularly back then.

I am trying hard to do it, but trust me the pressure of making a post is quite big for me to handle. Most of the time i just stare at the blank page of the create post tab.

The idea that was once pop up in my mind seems just evaporates, like when you throw a boiling water into a very cold winter. it just goes phufffttt....

At the moment I am trying to make more post, but since I only have an old laptop, the browser I am using is always crash. Opening two or three tabs simultaneously to find reference and get the picture I want to add, always end up in the crash report.

Because of that I seek advice to one of my relatives who know more about computer and stuff (he is a computer technicians). But I received kind of a bad feedback from him, saying that what I have done is just a waste of time.

You will only be eager on the early stage, but will drop down as times goes. He also advice that trading, or anything related to crypto is just a nonsense, and you really need to do that full time.

I really wants to explain more to him, but since he know more about computer than my self, I think it is better for me to just be quite. If silent is gold, than I will grab that gold for now.

Who knows when times pass i can really prove that he is wrong, and what I do on hive is not just a waste of time.

So tell me, does it worth explaining things to non believer or just let the result explains in the future?
