Finally, ha llegado a su fin la trilogía de “Cazadora de Hadas”, una serie de libros que comencé a leer hace poco y que me costó un poco terminar, ya que no me había encantado del todo. Aun así, como tengo un hueso responsable en mi cuerpo, la trilogía no es mala. Como les menciono en cada uno de mis posts de reseñas de libros, estos en particular fueron escritos por Jennifer L. Armentrourt. Así que bueno, les voy a contar cómo finaliza esta historia y los puntos que sí me gustaron, como los que no.

Finally, the "Fairy Slayer" trilogy has come to an end, a series of books I started reading recently and had a bit of a hard time finishing, as I hadn't quite loved it. Still, since I have a responsible bone in my body, the trilogy isn't bad. As I mention to you in each of my book review posts, these particular ones were written by Jennifer L. Armentrourt. So well, I'm going to tell you how this story ends and the points I did like, as well as the ones I didn't.

Cómo les mencioné en el post anterior, Ivy ha llegado a lo que es el mundo de los Faes buenos, donde no es también recibida. A ella la golpean brutalmente, por lo que queda muy herida. Para poder salvarla de vendar esencia humana, como sabemos esto, a ella la droga un poco y como consumió demasiado hace que su lado Fae se vuelva muy predominante. Esto hace que ella cambie mucho y la verdad lo podemos tocar fondo, en lo cual nos muestra una escala de grises en el libro y eso, digamos, que me gustó un poco porque está bien ver otra cara de los personajes. Pero no es nada que no se pueda solucionar y, a pesar de no volver a ser como era el principio, las cosas mejoran. Un dato importante es que en este libro llega el rey de los Faes buenos. Si mal no recuerdo, el de la corte verano. Ese personaje llamado Fabian es bastante sarcástico y no le cae muy bien gracia Ivy por su naturaleza semi humana, pero no es un mal personaje y la verdad es muy divertida, además de echarle el ojo y coquetear un poco con Think para darle un poco de diversión a la historia.

As I mentioned to you in the previous post, Ivy has arrived in what is the world of the good Faes, where she is not also welcomed. She is brutally beaten, so she is badly wounded. This makes her change a lot and the truth is that we can touch the bottom, which shows us a scale of grays in the book and that, let's say, I liked a little because it's nice to see another side of the characters. But it's nothing that can't be solved and, despite not going back to the way it was in the beginning, things get better. An important fact is that in this book the king of the good Faes arrives. If I remember correctly, the one from the summer court. That character named Fabian is quite sarcastic and doesn't like Ivy very much because of her semi-human nature, but he's not a bad character and she's actually a lot of fun, besides keeping an eye on him and flirting a bit with Think to give the story a bit of fun.

El caso es que todos juntos van en búsqueda de la otra semi humana que, según Drake (príncipe malo) tiene, pero todos son emboscados en la secta de la orden. Ahí se encuentran con uno de los de círculo y, pues, lo torturaron un poco, pero muere a manos del príncipe Fabian. Y hacen conexión con el líder de la orden, David, para poder encontrarse pronto en San Diego y después de planear un segundo encuentro, David los traiciona entregándolos a la reina Morgana. Digamos que es ahí donde la guerra tiene un punto fuerte, ya que todos están muy conmocionados porque fueron traicionados por una persona que ellos creían que era buena y los dejó básicamente a merced de los malos. Pero cuando Fabian ve a Drake, se da cuenta de que este no es quien parece y dice que está bajo un hechizo. Ahí las cosas se ponen bastante turbulentas porque Think suelta marionetas animadas para pelear, Fabian trata de liberar a Drake del hechizo y la reina se vuelve loca.

The thing is that they all go together in search of the other half-human that, according to Drake (bad prince) has, but they are all ambushed in the sect of the order. There they meet one of the circle and, well, they tortured him a little, but he dies at the hands of Prince Fabian. And they make a connection with the leader of the order, David, in order to meet soon in San Diego and after planning a second meeting, David betrays them by handing them over to Queen Morgana. Let's just say that's where the war comes to a head, as everyone is very shocked that they were betrayed by a person they thought was good and left them basically at the mercy of the bad guys. But when Fabian sees Drake, he realizes that Drake is not who he seems and says he is under a spell. That's when things get pretty turbulent because Think releases animated puppets to fight, Fabian tries to free Drake from the spell, and the queen goes berserk.

Luego intentan escapar y es ahí cuando Fabian revela que "Drake"realmente es su hermano, Caden, el cual creía que estaba muerto y que todo el tiempo estuvo hechizado por la reina. Caden se va con todos, pero recuerda todo lo que hizo y sabe que no es suficiente solo disculparse por todo lo malo que hizo bajo el nombre de Drake, pero digamos que todos siguen un poco adelante con el plan de detener a Morgana y que abra las puertas del otro mundo. Y en una batalla en la casa abandonada donde se encuentra el portal, el grupo lucha contra Faes malos y algunos miembros de la orden se unen para poder ganar la guerra. Ivy es casi succionada hacia el portal cuando se abre junto con la reina, pero Caden junto con Ren logran rescatarla y el portal se cierra.

They then try to escape and that's when Fabian reveals that "Drake "is really his brother, Caden, who he thought was dead and was bewitched by the queen all along. Caden leaves with everyone, but he remembers everything he did and knows that it's not enough just to apologize for all the bad things he did under the name of Drake, but let's just say that everyone goes ahead with the plan to stop Morgana from opening the doors to the other world. And in a battle in the abandoned house where the portal is located, the group fights against evil Faes and some members of the order join in so they can win the war. Ivy is almost sucked into the portal when it opens along with the queen, but Caden along with Ren manage to rescue her and the portal closes.
