Leisure Time Well Spent!

No matter how busy one's daily life is, it's of utmost importance to make out time for leisure because after It mustn't be for a whole day, a few hours can be enough.

I do not really have a particular format for spending leisure time, it's usually based on my mood.
But wait, leisure is supposed to be a time of rest and relaxation but sometimes I still get busy. I know some of you can relate.

Some ways that I spend leisure time

• First on the list is Sleeping
  I may just decide to embark on a sleep-a-thon, and before that, I make sure that nothing or no one will disturb me. I put my phone on silent mode except for the soft and soothing music that will be playing.

• I Engage in Hive

Almost seventy percent (70%) of my leisure time is spent on Hive. There's no dull moment with Hive. it is either I am creating contents, reading and upvoting other contents, engaging with other users or microblogging on Leothreads. I can't stay a day without popping into Hive especially on threads, it's not possible. How then will I survive the day, it's my new addiction. 😂

• I Read and Write

As the saying goes "reading maketh a man" so I try to read any books, novel, article of interest either online or offline.
The Bible is not excluded from the books that I read, and while at it I do meditation too. From there I do get inspiration to write songs, messages and articles too.

• I Visit the Garden

Paying a visit to my small garden is another way that I spend my free time. Going there often makes me know how the crops are doing, and if there are weeds, I pick them out. Just touching the vegetables and rearranging the stray ones, picking fresh okra, cutting some vegetables gives me so much joy.

• Cooking

I love cooking and my leisure time is another great opportunity to try my hands on some of the new dishes that I may have eaten somewhere or saw online. Also it can just be an idea that popped up and I will try to prepare it.

• Taking A Walk

I live in an environment that is close to nature so I may decide to stroll around and enjoy nature's gifts. While on the walk, I do take pictures of the clouds, birds, butterflies, goats, hens, just anything that catches my fancy.

Watching the birds flying around while singing, the butterflies perching from one plant to another is always beautiful. Not only that I get to enjoy the cool and fresh air, something that money cannot buy.

These and more are the ways that I usually spend my leisure time. Like I wrote before, whichever one I choose for the day depends on my mood and how the day is.
