Beyond The Pane - SMARP 264
Since after catching a glimpse of our frontyard reflected through a neighbor's car rear window, I've become conscious of looking into mirrors, windows, and glasses to see what reflections lie within. Lol. It's as if my eyes have been conditioned to look for them, to catch a glimpse of the world from a different angle.
Just yesterday, I found myself at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Market Road, attending the mid-day Mass. As I leaving the premises after the Mass, the reflection hunter in me whispered "Hey don't be in a haste to leave now. Look! There's reflection everywhere!"
I was already at the gate, about crossing it, so I slowed down, and peeked into the Almaco glass at the security house. "Oh my world!", was all I say after spotting how the reflection in the Almaco glass framed a stunning and serene scene: the church compound with the side view of the building, houses across the street, and a bright blue sky, which added a splash of color to the mirrored image. What a beauty!
I couldn't believe that I've walked past this same security house countless times, never thinking twice about the Almaco glass and what it could reveal. Thank goodness for the experience with my neighbor's car. Lol.
You know what happened next, right? 😂
So I quickly took some snapshots, capturing the scene, including the school building, trees and other elements that were reflected.

It was indeed a moment of unexpected beauty, one that reminded me of the importance of slowing down to explore and appreciate my surroundings, and the world around me.
An extra 😂

It was a lovely view, one that I wouldn't have caught if I hadn't slowed down.
