Subida al Pico Occidental

Otro de mis hobbies deportivos es subir hacer excursiones, sobre todo a las montañas que rodean la ciudad de Caracas.
En estas fotos muestro lo que fue mi ultima subida al Pico Occidental del Parque Waraira Repano, también conocido como El Ávila.
Hacia mucho tiempo que no hacia la ruta para subir por Altamira, La primera vez fue largo y cansino ya que hicimos toda la ruta hasta Lagunazo y luego el Humboldt, pero esta ruta fue mas sencilla ya que solo subimos hasta el Pico Occidental.

Fue un paseo muy disfrutable, con buenos amigos amantes de la montaña y de la naturaleza, es sin duda algo que me gustaría hacer mas seguido si dispusiera del tiempo.

El Ávila es un lugar maravilloso lleno de una fauna y flora particularmente hermosa, un lugar que hay que cuidar y preservar, que hay que visitar y conocer por lo menos una vez en la vida.

The first time was long and tiring since we did the whole route up to Lagunazo and then the Humboldt, but this route was easier since we only climbed up to the Western Peak

It was a very enjoyable ride, with good friends who love the mountains and nature, it is certainly something I would like to do more often if I had the time.

El Avila is a wonderful place full of particularly beautiful fauna and flora, a place to take care of and preserve, a place to visit and get to know at least once in a lifetime.
