Day 1574: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: no sleep

Vladimir y su esposa Julibeth salieron el día de hoy, desde Ciudad Bolívar hacia Colombia en su pequeño vehículo, en un viaje por carretera que prometía una travesía de disfrutar, observar, conocer personas y pueblos durante todo el trayecto. Su primera parada la harían, de acuerdo a su plan en Barinas, pero una cosa es lo que planeas y otra lo que te depara el destino.

Vladimir and his wife Julibeth left today, from Ciudad Bolivar to Colombia in their small vehicle, on a road trip that promised a journey of enjoying, observing, meeting people and towns along the way. Their first stop would be, according to their plan, in Barinas, but one thing is what you plan and another what destiny has in store for you.

Durante la travesía disfrutaban del paisaje hermoso de un país que todavía tiene mucho que ofrecer a pesar de la crisis social, política y económica, entraron a varios pueblitos, conocieron personas, degustaron algunos platos típicos de la zona, el tiempo avanzaba y ellos se retrasaban en la primera parada donde descansarían. Los arropo la oscuridad de la noche, aunado a eso se presento la falta de iluminación de las vías Venezolanas, lo cual mostraban la realidad de una sociedad sumergida en la corrupción de sus gobernantes. Vladimir mostraba signos de cansancio su esposa Julibeth se da cuenta y le dice "no te duermas, te puedo ayudar a conducir" Vladimir le contesta "seria bueno pero no conoces la vía y ya falta poco" terminando la oración observa delante en la carretera una estampida de ganado que viene directo hacia ellos, el quita el pie del acelerador y el no frena sino que se deja ir, el ganado se abre pasando por los lados del auto cuando una vaca en medio de la estampida es empujada por otra, esta desvía su carrera y choca contra el pequeño vehículo, el animal muere en el instante, el auto en su parte delantera queda destrozado y la pareja por un milagro salieron solo con aporreos generalizados y asustados por el accidente.

During the trip they enjoyed the beautiful scenery of a country that still has much to offer despite the social, political and economic crisis, they entered several villages, met people, tasted some typical dishes of the area, time was advancing and they were delayed at the first stop where they would rest. Pasado el susto se presentaba otro dilema, quedarían a la interpelar durante toda la noche, rogando por un buen samaritano, DIOS escucho sus ruegos y envió a un señor que anteriormente estaba accidentado y logro reparar su camión grua, cuando lo ven le hacen seña, el hombre se para y les presta auxilio. Como pueden amaran el auto al camión y montan la vaca, el camionero los lleva hasta Barinas, donde harían su primera parada para descansar, comparten parte del animal con el buen samaritano agradeciendo su gesto y se despiden.
