In the early years of the Arena Games, many battle mages began working together and formed guilds. All across the Splinterlands, they combined their resources to construct halls, lodges, barracks, stores, and even arenas where they hosted brawls—tournaments that pitted guilds against one another in a series of battles to prove which was the best.

En los primeros años de los Juegos de Arena, muchos magos de batalla empezaron a trabajar juntos y formaron gremios. A lo largo y ancho de las Tierras Esparcidas, combinaron sus recursos para construir salones, logias, cuarteles, tiendas e incluso arenas en las que organizaban reyertas: torneos que enfrentaban a los gremios entre sí en una serie de batallas para demostrar cuál era el mejor.

Process / Proceso

I began my process by thoroughly researching the character of Immortalis in Splinterlands. I studied his physical characteristics, his history and his personality to understand his essence. Then, I analyzed the visual style and humor characteristic of the Simpsons, looking for ways to merge both aesthetics in a coherent way.

Next, I began creating sketches to explore different poses and compositions. I played with facial expressions and body postures to capture Immortalis' personality and make him recognizable even in the Simpsons style. This stage was crucial to define the overall design and establish a solid base for the final drawing.

Once I was satisfied with the initial sketch, I proceeded to outline it, making sure the lines were sharp and defined.

After having the sketch digitized, I proceeded to apply the colors. I decided to use a bright and vibrant color palette to capture the essence of the Simpsons. I used layers of solid colors and shading techniques to give depth and dimension to the character. I also made sure to stay consistent with the colors and tones used in the series and in the game.

Once the basic coloring was done, I focused on adding additional details to enhance the Simpson aspect of Immortalis. I added lines and textures characteristic of the series to give it that distinctive touch. Comencé mi proceso investigando a fondo el personaje de Immortalis en Splinterlands. Estudié sus características físicas, su historia y su personalidad para comprender su esencia. A continuación, empecé a crear bocetos para explorar diferentes poses y composiciones.
