Hello, hello, hello! I'm lorentm, a digital artist who has a lot of fun creating artwork based on collectible card games and cartoons. Today I have a very special surprise for you: a Simpsons-style adaptation of the "FLAME IMP" character!

Don't know who "FLAME IMP" is? Well, you're missing out on one of the best characters in splinterlands, the most amazing collectible card game in the world. The "FLAME IMP" is a fire creature that belongs to the red splinter and has the ability to do extra damage to his enemies with his fire attack. He is a very mischievous and funny little devil who is always looking for ways to play pranks and cause trouble.

He is one of my favorite characters in the game and this is the third time I draw him, but this time I wanted to give him a more original and funny touch. To make this adaptation, I was inspired by Bart Simpson, the eldest son of the most famous yellow family on television. Bart is a child very similar to the "FLAME IMP", he has spiky hair, a rebellious attitude and a taste for practical jokes.

So I decided to draw the "FLAME IMP" with the same style as Bart, but keeping his distinctive features such as his horns, wings and tail. The composition of the drawing consists of the "FLAME IMP" showing his buttocks while his pants are down, in the background is shown an empty room inspired in hell.

¡Hola, hola, hola! Soy lorentm, una artista digital que se divierte mucho creando obras de arte basadas en los juegos de cartas coleccionables y los dibujos animados. Hoy les tengo una sorpresa muy especial: ¡una adaptación del personaje de “FLAME IMP” al estilo de los Simpsons!

¿No saben quién es el “FLAME IMP”? Pues se están perdiendo de uno de los mejores personajes de splinterlands, el juego de cartas coleccionables más increíble del mundo. El “FLAME IMP” es una criatura de fuego que pertenece al splinter rojo y que tiene la habilidad de hacer daño extra a sus enemigos con su ataque de fuego. Es un diablillo muy travieso y divertido que siempre está buscando la forma de hacer bromas y causar problemas.

Es uno de mis personajes favoritos del juego y esta es la tercera vez que lo dibujo, pero esta vez quise darle un toque más original y gracioso. Para hacer esta adaptación, me inspiré en Bart Simpson, el hijo mayor de la familia amarilla más famosa de la televisión. Bart es un niño muy parecido al “FLAME IMP”, tiene el pelo puntiagudo, la actitud rebelde y el gusto por las bromas pesadas.

Así que decidí dibujar al “FLAME IMP” con el mismo estilo de Bart, pero conservando sus rasgos distintivos como sus cuernos, sus alas y su cola. La composición del dibujo consiste en el “FLAME IMP” enseñando sus nalgas mientras tiene los pantalones abajo, de fondo se muestra un salón vacío inspirado en el infierno.

The boiling and bubbling lake in the Burning Lands known as Mittreya’s Hand gives birth to many bizarre creatures of flame. Some of the lava bubbles that pop above the surface produce, with a startled tiny scream, a disastrous little devil that Ferexia have come to call a Flame Imp.

El lago hirviente y burbujeante de las Tierras Ardientes conocido como Mano de Mittreya da a luz a muchas criaturas extrañas de llama. Algunas de las burbujas de lava que estallan sobre la superficie producen, con un pequeño grito sobresaltado, un desastroso diablillo que Ferexia ha dado en llamar diablillo de las llamas.

Process / Proceso

To create this digital drawing, I followed the steps below:

Sketch: I sketched the "FLAME IMP" in the style of Bart Simpson, based on reference images of both characters. I drew the basic body shape, head, arms, legs, tail, horns and wings. I also drew the facial expression and the pose I wanted the character to have.

Outlining: With the brush tool and a new layer, I traced the outline of the sketch with a black color. I adjusted the size and pressure of the brush to make thicker or thinner lines as needed. I erased the parts of the sketch that I didn't want to be seen and corrected some mistakes I found. In the end, I got a clean and defined drawing of the character.

Coloring: Using the paint bucket tool and several new layers, I filled in the different parts of the character with colors that corresponded to his Simpsons style. I used a dark red color for the skin, a lighter red color for the horns and wings, a blue color for the pants and a yellow color for the eyes and teeth.

Apply shadows and glows: With the brush tool and several new layers, I added shadows and glows to the character to give him more volume and depth. I used colors darker or lighter than the base colors to create contrasts. I also used blending modes such as multiply or overexpose to better blend the colors. I applied shadows and glows on the character's body, head, arms, legs, tail, horns, wings and clothes.

Adding final details: I wrote my signature in the lower right part of the drawing with a small font. Finally, I adjusted the brightness and contrast of the drawing to improve its quality.

Para crear este dibujo digital, seguí los siguientes pasos:

Boceto: Hice un boceto del "FLAME IMP" al estilo de Bart Simpson, basándome en imágenes de referencia de ambos personajes. Dibujé la forma básica del cuerpo, la cabeza, los brazos, las piernas, la cola, los cuernos y las alas. También dibujé la expresión facial y la pose que quería que tuviera el personaje

Delineado: Con la herramienta de pincel y una capa nueva, tracé el contorno del boceto con un color negro. Ajusté el tamaño y la presión del pincel para hacer líneas más gruesas o más finas según fuera necesario. Borré las partes del boceto que no quería que se vieran y corregí algunos errores que encontré. Al final, obtuve un dibujo limpio y definido del personaje.

Coloreado: Con la herramienta de cubo de pintura y varias capas nuevas, rellené las diferentes partes del personaje con los colores que correspondían a su estilo de los Simpsons. Usé un color rojo oscuro para la piel, un color rojo más claro para los cuernos y las alas, un color azul para los pantalones y un color amarillo para los ojos y los dientes.

Aplicar sombras y brillos: Con la herramienta de pincel y varias capas nuevas, agregué sombras y brillos al personaje para darle más volumen y profundidad. Usé colores más oscuros o más claros que los colores base para crear contrastes. También usé modos de fusión como multiplicar o sobreexponer para mezclar mejor los colores. Apliqué sombras y brillos en el cuerpo, la cabeza, los brazos, las piernas, la cola, los cuernos, las alas y la ropa del personaje.

Agregar detalles finales: Escribí mi firma en la parte inferior derecha del dibujo con una fuente pequeña. Finalmente, ajusté el brillo y el contraste del dibujo para mejorar su calidad.
