Draw A Day : Dog

It has been a while when I last made a post here in the community. I still do not have anything made other than this Traditional Painting which is made by my son on 5th grade. This is a requirement that needs to be submitted and the topic is about traditional painting. I bought him some acrylic paint and an illustration board. I am surprised that he volunteered to create this homework on his own. I did not know that he can now draw images or paint a picture like this one. The only direction in school is to create a traditional painting. He chose his own subject which is a dog. We do not have a pet other than a cat so he went to visit a neighbor friend who happens to have a dog , the one on the picture. He took a quick photo on his smart phone and went home right away and started painting. As a mom, I am so glad and proud of what he had shown me today. A talent and some perseverance. So so happy on what he had accomplished and what skill he had honed during the lock down. They are not yet doing the face to face class but little by little the community and the country is making some progress .
