Sweet and Sour Fish

How are you today? I hope you're feeling great and well.
Today is a very special day. I prepared something special menu for today's my birthday celebration.
I wanted to share to you how I simply cook this special sweet and sour fish. This one too is my favorite dish. What I love the most is that I used fresh fish to taste a savory sweet and sour dish.
Here's the following ingredients I used in cooking it
1 kilo medium sized fish (katambak or snapper fish)
1 clove of garlic
1 pc medium onion
1/2 bottle of catsup
1 teaspoon of cornstarch added with 1/2 cup of water (slurry for thickening)
1 can pineapple juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
2 tablespoon of sugar
In a pan, sauté onion and garlic until flavored comes out
I added the ketchup, pineapple juice and sugar. Let it simmer for atleast 3-4 minutes.
I added a slurry I made ( from water added with cornstarch) to make the sauce thickens.
After simmered for how many minutes, I placed the fried fish in a pan and gently coated it with sauce.
When it's cooked already, serve it immediately when it's hot.
There you go, and it's ready to eat..It's just a simple menu I prepared during this special day.
