Roots Unbound: Removing Plants from its pots
Hello dear gardeners how are you in this community..I wanna share to you one of the activity I've done today with my ornamental plants ☘️ It's been two years already since these plants stayed in the pots. They became a decorative plants for too long giving beauty and attractions of my house. These plants are known for their aesthetic value and environmental benefits which helps in improving the quality of air.

Early sunrise in the morning, I decided to remove all my ornamental plants from its pots.I've cleaned the surrounding area first before removing the plants.

These plants are called Chinese Evergreen they're considered as one of the most durable plants at home.

From top of its place I'm placing all the pots on the floor. And started to plan what to do next.Leaves were already dried up, I haven't took good care of it.Since this plants were only low maintenance, and it's being exposed to sunlight directly.
But I find it not beautiful anymore to look at so I've decided to pull it out and transferred to wherever I will be deciding to.

These snake plants will also be included to be transferred outside also.

I have so many snake plants also and I find it not attractive anymore in front of my house so I've also took the plan to remove it.

Good thing my husband was having a free time today. He can helped to clean the area and transferred also the plants whose roots were already growing so much.

As I've checked on plants these are the different things I've seen: and because of too much busy at home and in work, I can't give anymore my time to them, the leaves withered, the soil dried up and roots were growing so much that it almost break the pots.So today is a perfect time to a give them some attention and care.

With the help of my husband I'm able to pull it out from its pots.Carefully and with care we've successfully removed the plants from its roots.

The roots were already grown up and looked like it's old and we find it very hard to pull it out from its pots..

Looked at how the roots grow so much in its pots..It's a perfect timing that I've decided to transfer it to another place.Roots were spreading that some of its pots were damaged and were broken.

And so when it's being removed,we've look for some space that's good enough to place all of these ornamental plants..

Here in this place we've placed it all and we will pull it all the weeds outside so that plants will feel Comfort when it grows.A lot of activity will be done today just to transfer this plants to a wide area or more space for the root growth to develop. And I'm not done yet in cleaning the area.I will still continue this if I have a spare time. The empty pots will be used for some other plants. And that I will keep you updated on my next gardening activity.

What a great gardening project @lolitaanana001 to tackle! It’s so smart that you noticed the roots were getting too big those root bound plants must have been struggling to get water and nutrients especially with the dried soil and withered leaves. Chinese Evergreens and snake plants are indeed super durable but even low maintenance plants need a little TLC every now and then right?
@jocabanero4 yeah you're very right....I find it enjoyable while I'm removing the hard roots of my ornamental plants..yeah it dried up because it's not watered and cared anymore but still they're alive and they're leaves still shining in beauty..
Nice to see you found joy in pulling those tough roots! Even without much care those plants are hanging in there and still look pretty that's the magic of Chinese evergreens and snake plants 😊
@jocabanero4 yes sis...that's I a bit guilty knowing that I'm not giving them so much care and maintenance...
Oh it seems that those ornamental plants of yours has been neglected 🤣🤣🤣🤣 just kidding my friend. This only shows that you are busy being a teacher and a mom. good thing that you have time to clean and transplant them even though your busy. Also you have a helpful husband that can help you in transplanting those plants. I'm sure they will grow beautifully once transplanted. Thanks for sharing your plants here.
@segundolhou29 yeah I felt pitied on them since yesterday 😂😂😂so that's why I'm making the most of my time caring them today😂😊..I will promise not to abandon them anymore😊😊🫰🏽🫰🏽thank you for giving the time to comment on my post...i always appreciate it
Nyahahahaha I was just kidding my friend. Our time as mom is limited specially when we have a baby. We need to take care of them first before those plants. If we have some vacant time then we can plant and weed them but if none just let them be. Especially if you have work, it's hard to balance being a mother, a professional and a wife. Hehe so we as fellow mom's understand if we see some plants that is not taken care of hehe.
Hahaha you nailed it sis😊🫰🏽🫰🏽😍😍😍
Thank you for the advice my dear loving friend...yeah it seemed that yesterday was a perfect time my friend Id give my quality time to them..
