Guiding my Daughter in Her Artwork Activities: Creating A DIY Paper made Sandals

Hello everyone πŸ€—
How are you doing in this community? I hope you're great and fine 😊
I'm a bit busy today because my daughter has a lot of activities to be done. So I helped her accomplished the DIY cut outs made into a flip flops sandal.

It's so funny to see how's our output looked like after all our energy and effort not wasted.
Seeing her improving slightly made me happy. I'm thankful she's in her K-2 now, and I saw how developed she is in her behavior and actions.

Firstly, I traced a patterned of a paper sandal using pencil. I traced it carefully. And then I assisted my daughter most especially in cutting out the colored papers.. I reminded her to keep herself safe while using the scissors.

I instructed her to place some white glue in a cut out sandal. Each edge of it is placed with a little amount glue.

And then I let her listen to me to follow for the next instructions. I let her pasted it on a second layer of the sandal. It's quite difficult to ask for her attention, for she wanted to things on her own..

At least I still get her attention though she wanted to be on her own, so we're on the middle of finishing her DIY sandals, so I let her continue doing it by placing the paper straps at the back of it, pasted with glue..
At the front of it, I let her design some flowers for it to look more beautiful..

Were both happy when it's already done. It's a DIY sandals made out of paper. I considered the day a productive day, and I'm glad my child listened and follow my instructions.
At her young age I always appreciate though I have to catch her attention from time to time, but patiently teaching her little by little made her created a beautiful DIY project.
