A Productive Day: My First Homeroom Meeting and Election of PTA Officers

Hello everyone 🤗 It's Monday again, and I'm sharing to you one of the successful activity I made today--The conduct of our first homeroom meeting and the election of classroom officers.

Since I'm not so feeling well today, I've had my cough since yesterday.But still it's really a must to go to work and continue my mission as a teacher.

I've made my PowerPoint presentations, setting up the classroom, have my agenda flashed on the screen.. Everything's prepared and I'm ready to meet for the first my parent's this batch for 2026.

The meeting started with a prayer. A short introduction of myself as an adviser to their son/ daughter.
Then I started to talk about the agenda of the day.Like, School Rules and Policies, Grading System (The three term calendar), Students Behavior, School Uniform and Students credentials.

I only have a few parents attended on that day, aside from the weather is not so good, majority of them did not able to make it because of the same reasons, their busy most of them of their work.

So we continued discussing all the important agendas in that day.
So we're also able to have a short time electing a new set of officers this school year 2026-2027.

After the thorough discussion, I entertained few questions and concerns coming from the parents.

It's a productive day after all.
It's a successful meeting and election of officers. Parents were also cooperative and supportive.

The day ended with so much learnings and insights both shared between me and to my parents. Were always hoping that this school year will be a great success to each of the students. Together we'll be both working for the good and benefit of their son/daughter.
