DIA DEL MAESTRO
En Venezuela el 15 de enero se celebra el día del maestro, una fecha que se conmemora desde el año 1932 cuando se fundó la Sociedad de Maestros de Instrucción Primaria, ese día se recuerda a muchos maestros insignes que han tenido el país como el Maestro Simón Rodríguez, el maestro del Libertador Simón Bolívar, Don Andrés Bello un maestro universal que recorrió muchos países y se estableció en Chile donde fue admirado, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, más actual y maestro de muchas generaciones, pero también tenemos los maestros de aula en las escuelas primarias y secundaria que cada día hacen sus mejores esfuerzos para formar los niños y niñas con una dedicación que va mas allá de las carencias materiales que existen en la escuela y en el hogar y que estos maestros con voluntad y mucha dedicación asumen su tarea de educar trasmitiendo y reforzando valores para formar ciudadanos con un sentido crítico y productivo.
TEACHER'S DAY

El maestro es el pilar fundamental de la sociedad y quien tiene a cargo formar a las personas de todas las profesiones desde los médicos, los ingenieros hasta los astronautas, un maestro los forma con sus conocimientos, su dedicación, motivación.
The teacher is the fundamental pillar of society and who is in charge of training people of all professions from doctors, engineers to astronauts, a teacher trains them with his knowledge, dedication and motivation.
Quiero aprovechar y felicitar a mi grupo de Docentes que laboran conmigo ya que cada día se esforzan más y más para formar a nuestros niños con dedicación y amor, gracias por hacerme parte de esa hermosa familia, porque eso es lo que somos una gran familia que trabaja por nuestros niños para dejarles una huella en sus corazones.
