Hive Open Mic Week 123 - A Lament For Mankind
Greetings Hive!!!
and Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 123!
This week's theme had me thinking and coming up with several ideas, from an older original tune, to a few covers, but I really just wanted to jam on the guitar. I have a lot less time for the internet or much else 5 days a week aside from my job working overtime at a dispensary.
I am more or less a black pilled sorta guy. I hope and hope for humans to improve but we usually even fuck that up. So in my humble opinion, we should not hope for a better world in our lifetime. We should perhaps be the best we can, treat others well, be kind and generous without being a door mat. Use the golden rule and understand that you don't understand.
Well, these are my thoughts and I came up with a rather melancholic sort of guitar jam, I hope you enjoy!

Man this is awesome!! i love your sound brother, and that guitar is beautiful! i felt the sadness and the melancholy on the music and i enjoyed a lot your jam! good job man your music is very deep ... i kinda agree with you on what you say on your post, however maybe we should teach our children, our sons and daughters, to have hope for a better tomorrow? but yeah i feel you man, what can we do besides trying to be the best example we can for them? congratulations on this entry is really awesome greetings bro keep rocking!! lml

Yes, I agree, teaching the next generation to not be so self absorbed and materialistic. Teaching the true value of spirituality instead of religious dogma. Teaching how we're all in this together. Teaching the concept of living in the moment etc. Maybe a later iteration of our species will get it. Our human nature more often than not, gets in our way.
