A sense of humour opens doors. Week 166
Hello weekend Experience friends, hope you are doing well.
I think one of the things that defines me as a person is having a sense of humour, I like to be positive and see the good side of things despite the negative, throughout my life I have tried to be relaxed and in a good mood, although sometimes I fail, I try most of the time to practice this virtue because through it we add peace to our lives and the lives of those around us bringing tranquility.

A sense of humour is an essential characteristic to be healthy, it makes us see life with a different perspective, understanding that in spite of difficult situations what matters most is to be emotionally stable in order to face reality in an intelligent way.
Over the years I have experienced the art of humour as a part of my being, so much so that I have earned several titles from my family and friends who have told me that I look like the violinists in the Titanic movie, that everything is sinking and I try to cheer up the atmosphere by playing the violin calmly, saying: calm down, calm down, we will get out of this, and I would immediately make some jokes to calm the atmosphere, to tell the truth I think they exaggerate a little.
On the other hand, my students think the opposite, they say that I am serious, a bit scolding but always funny, something that always catches their attention is my way of explaining something that makes them laugh, because I explain with special effects like: sounds, changes in the tonalities of the voice or that I simulate sometimes with movements, I don't even force myself to be funny and everyone is already laughing at what I say and I don't understand why they laugh if according to me I am talking about something normal.

I particularly think that having a sense of humour is an advantage because it simplifies things a lot, it opens some doors, it makes the people around you feel good and confident, a person can achieve wellbeing and balance through this state, I think it is a useful way to release anxiety, tension and insecurity promoting greater joy and enjoyment of your day to day life.

So I can only tell you that a sense of humour and laughter is one of the ways we can live longer and feel healthier, it is not for nothing that different kinds of laughter therapy classes are held around the world as a way to relax and lower the stress levels that are so damaging to today's society. Let's embrace a healthy and balanced sense of humour as our particular therapy to oxygenate our brain, increase the levels of dopamine and Oxytocin that helps us to strengthen our immune system, thus achieving a fuller and happier life.
Thank you for reading, I wish you a happy weekend.

Hahaha it made me thankful that sometimes you are compared to the violinists of the Titanic.... I have a friend who is like you describe yourself and it is very nice to be with her.
Yes, I have been compared to many situations to define myself, of my calmness when the world is coming to an end, or that if I were on a falling plane I would take the floor and say: dear passengers, hold hands and let's pray that we will get out alive, battered but alive.
