[ENG-ESP] El Amoroso Tifón | The Lloving Typhoon

Mi mascota es un perro y mis hijos le colocaron el nombre de Tifón, ellos decidieron llamarlo así por la mitología griega que indica que Tifón nace de la una unión entre Gea (madre tierra) molesta por el tratamiento que sus hijos los gigantes habían recibido de parte de Zeus, le dio un hijo a Tártaro con la intención de que este resultara un terrible dragón, con la fuerza suficiente para derrotar a Zeus. Tifón llamado también Tifeo era un monstruo terrorífico, era el padre de los monstruos griegos, su fuerza era como la de un buey y tenía 100 cabezas de serpiente con lenguas negras y ojos de fuego que brotaban de sus hombros. Con este nombre mis hijos pensaban que se identificaría como un perro de carácter fuerte pero realmente no es así. Tifón es cariñoso, paciente, juguetón, fiel con la familia y reservado con los extraños pero nunca ha respondido de manera agresiva. Desde cachorro ha tenido una buena socialización. Es muy inteligente, buen compañero, tiene un espíritu sobreprotector con los miembros de la familia, fácil de guiar, no es agresivo. Sin embargo, le tiene miedo al agua, a los foforitos y cohetes artificiales, en épocas decembrinas se asusta mucho con estos eventos.

My pet is a dog and my children named him Typhon, they decided to call him this way because of the Greek mythology that indicates that Typhon was born from the union between Gaea (mother earth) annoyed by the treatment that her children the giants had received from Zeus, she gave a son to Tartarus with the intention that he would be a terrible dragon, with enough strength to defeat Zeus. Typhon also called Typhoeus was a terrifying monster, he was the father of the Greek monsters, his strength was like that of an ox and he had 100 serpent heads with black tongues and eyes of fire that sprang from his shoulders. With this name my children thought he would be identified as a strong-willed dog but he really is not. Typhoon is affectionate, patient, playful, loyal to family and reserved with strangers but has never responded aggressively. Since puppyhood he has had a good socialization. He is very intelligent, good companion, has an overprotective spirit with family members, easy to guide, not aggressive. However, he is afraid of water, foforitos and fireworks, during the Christmas season he gets very scared with these events.

Lo más divertido que me ha pasado con este animal es que deja de jugar con la pelota por jugar con piedras, le gusta que se las lancen en un montón de piedras para él buscarla y regresar con la piedra que se le lanzó, me imagino que la identifica por el olor, cuando quiere jugar él toma la iniciativa y trae la piedra es su forma de llamar la atención.

The funniest thing that has happened to me with this animal is that he stops playing with the ball to play with stones, he likes to be thrown in a pile of stones for him to look for it and return with the stone that was thrown, I imagine that he identifies it by the smell, when he wants to play he takes the initiative and brings the stone is his way to get attention.

Su comida favorita es el pollo debido a que el viene de una manada de perros que vivían alrededor de una granja de pollos, los trabajadores le echaban estos animales muertos a la manada de perros para alimentarlos. Él estaba pequeño cuando mi esposo lo trajo pero ya se alimentaba con pollos y conocía su olor y sabor. Actualmente, se alimenta con perrarina pero su mayor alegría es cuando uno llega del mercado con las compras, su olfato le indica que uno trae pollo y sale a recibir con mucho entusiasmo.

His favorite food is chicken because he comes from a pack of dogs that lived around a chicken farm, the workers would throw these dead animals to the pack of dogs to feed them. He was small when my husband brought him but he was already fed chickens and knew their smell and taste. Nowadays, he is fed with perrarina but his greatest joy is when you come from the market with your purchases, his sense of smell tells him that you are bringing chicken and he comes out to greet you with great enthusiasm.

En mi hogar nunca habíamos tenido una mascota antes de Tifón incluso yo no estaba de acuerdo en tener una mascota por las responsabilidades que esto implicaba pero mis dos hijos y mi esposo lo querían así que por consenso el perro se quedó en casa. Les comento que cuando lo trajeron inspiraba mucha ternura, estaba muy pequeño e indefenso, lo cuidamos y se fue encariñando con toda la familia, él es un perro muy amistoso y ya tiene 5 años, le gusta pasear en las mañanas, no le gusta estar solo en casa. Tener esta mascota ha servido para que mis hijos tengan responsabilidad y obligaciones en sus cuidados, les ha enseñado la sensibilidad con los animales, han aprendido a jugar, amar y empatizar con los animales.

In my home we had never had a pet before Typhoon, even I did not agree to have a pet because of the responsibilities that this implied, but my two children and my husband loved him, so by consensus the dog stayed at home. I tell you that when he was brought he inspired a lot of tenderness, he was very small and defenseless, we took care of him and he got attached to the whole family, he is a very friendly dog and he is already 5 years old, he likes to walk in the mornings, he does not like to be alone at home. Having this pet has helped my children to have responsibility and obligations in their care, it has taught them sensitivity with animals, they have learned to play, love and empathize with animals.

Tener mascotas en casa es muy lindo, llenan de vida y alegria al hogar y siempre estan para sacarnos una sonrisa y brindarnos su compañia, sino tienen una mascota los animo a que tengan una. Gracias por leer!
