Hola amigos hivers, sé que ya Halloween paso hace unas semanas pero se me había olvidado por completo enseñarles estas fotos que hice en el mes de octubre para conmemorar Halloween.

Hi hivers friends, I know Halloween happened a few weeks ago but I had completely forgotten to show you these photos I took in October to commemorate Halloween.

Mi tipo de fotografía es muy artística así que cada que puedo hacer algo artístico con algún tema que me guste no pienso dos veces en hacerlo y más si tiene alguna temática oscura o de terror (como lo pudieron notar en las fotos de mi cumpleaños) así que luego de hacer unas practicas con técnicas nuevas de edición decidí hacer unos autorretratos.

My type of photography is very artistic so every time I can do something artistic with a subject that I like I don't think twice about doing it and even more if it has a dark or horror theme (as you could notice in my birthday pictures) so after some practice with new editing techniques I decided to do some self-portraits.

Todas estas fotos son tomadas en mi sala con la ayuda de un trípode, un obturador a distancia, un aro de luz y el backdrop para sostener la utilería.

All these photos are taken in my living room with the help of a tripod, a remote shutter, a light ring and the backdrop to hold the props.

Esta primera foto (la cual va en conjunto con la última foto de esta publicación) quise hacer como una mezcla del retrato de Dorian Gray pero en su versión vampiro, en este caso hice un foto montaje de dos tomas una del marco el cual use de utilería, y otra donde estoy posando detrás del marco, anécdota de esta foto gaste media caja de fósforo para conseguir alguna buena toma.

This first photo (which goes together with the last photo of this publication) I wanted to do as a mixture of the portrait of Dorian Gray but in its vampire version, in this case I made a photo montage of two shots, one of the frame which I used as a prop, and another where I am posing behind the frame, anecdote of this photo I spent half a box of matches to get a good shot.

Fue un poco difícil hacer estas tomas ya que el aire acondicionado estaba encendido y me coloque en todo el frente de él para no sudar, pero luego de que arme todo el set y comencé a tomar las fotos recordé que iba a usar los fósforos y también me los apagaba, pero pude obtener dos tomas que me gustaron mucho.

It was a little difficult to get these shots since the air conditioner was on and I was standing all the way in front of it so I wouldn't sweat, but after I set up the whole set and started taking the pictures I remembered I was going to use the matches and I was also blowing them out, but I was able to get two shots that I really liked.

Para esta segunda foto no hice una sesión completa, ya que de todas las tomas esta fue la única que me gusto, quise con ella representar la magia negra en tiempo moderno, donde se puede invocar animales rastreros a través de nuestro cuerpo, para esta foto usé un diferente tipo de iluminación, ya que use una luz trasera de color fondo para dar un aire más tétrico.

For this second photo I didn't make a complete session, since of all the shots this was the only one I liked, I wanted to represent the black magic in modern times, where you can invoke crawling animals through our body, for this photo I used a different type of lighting, since I used a back light colored background to give a more gloomy air.

También es la foto que más tiempo me tomo editar para hacer el fotomontaje y que todo quedara como quería terminó durando dos días seguidos de edición hasta obtener este resultado.

It is also the photo that took me the longest time to edit to make the photomontage and make everything look the way I wanted it to end up lasting two consecutive days of editing to get this result.

Estas fotos fueron editadas con Adobe Photoshop, el cual tengo un poco oxidado pero he estado haciendo algunos cursos online de edición y como dije antes aprendiendo nuevas técnicas las cuales aplique para estas fotografías.

These photos were edited with Adobe Photoshop, which I have a little rusty but I've been doing some online editing courses and as I said before learning new techniques which I applied to these photos.
