[ENG/ESP] Review of My Little Pony next generation | Reseña de My Little Pony next generation
Hola amigos hivers tiempo sin hacer una reseña pero siento que hacerla de esta genial película era justo y necesario, espero estén dispuestos a leerla y que les guste demasiado.
I will start by saying that I am not a fan of the movies produced or better said the so called Netflix original since they always end up disappointing me with the ending, the plot or with the whole movie in general so my expectations when watching a Netflix original movie are always low, but I want to say that this one is the exception.
Comenzare diciendo que no soy fan de las películas producidas o mejor dicho las llamadas Netflix original ya que siempre terminan decepcionándome con el final, la trama o con toda la película en general así que mis expectativas al momento de ver una película original de Netflix siempre son bajas, pero quiero decir que esta es la excepción.
Something that motivated me to see this movie is that I am a fan of the My little pony franchise I watched the entire fourth generation series so when I found out that they would make a movie about the fifth and new generation my excitement was very big although when I found out that it would be made by Netflix my excitement diminished a lot because of what I said above about the Netflix original.
Algo que me motivó a ver esta película es que soy fan de la franquicia de My little pony me vi toda la serie de la cuarta generación así que cuando me enteré que harían una película sobre la quinta y nueva generación mi emoción fue muy grande aunque al enterarme que seria realizada por Netflix mi emoción disminuyó mucho por lo que ya dije anteriormente sobre las Netflix original.
But I must say that I loved the movie and it exploded my expectations because first it is a new generation of ponies of the franchise that I love and it is the first time that we can appreciate the ponies in third dimension since they are created with CGI (Computer Generated Image) and with that is a huge plus to call my attention to see it since all previous generations of this franchise were animated in 2 dimensions.
Pero debo decir que la película me encanto demasiado exploto mis expectativas ya que primero es una nueva generación de ponys de la franquicia que amo y que es la primera vez que nos podremos apreciar a los ponys en tercera dimensión ya que son creados con CGI (Imagen generada a computadora) ya con eso es un plus enorme para llamarme la atención a verla ya que todas las generaciones anteriores de esta franquicia estaban animadas en 2 dimensiones.
The film begins with the story of the mane 6 of the fourth generation and how it ended with the coexistence of peace of all equestria to then show us the protagonist of this new generation called Sunny Starscout an earth pony which is playing with two other earth ponies called Hitch Trailblazer and Sprout which the latter calls her a liar because in the current equestria the different species of ponies are not friends and each one is in his city having misconceptions of the other two species.
La película comienza con la historia de las mane 6 de la cuarta generación y como finalizo con la convivencia de paz de toda equestria para luego mostrarnos a la protagonista de esta nueva generación llamada Sunny Starscout una pony terrestre la cual esta jugando con otros dos ponys terrestres llamados Hitch Trailblazer y Sprout el cual este ultimo la llama mentirosa ya que en la equestria actual las diferentes especies de ponys no son amigos y cada quien esta en su ciudad teniendo conceptos equivocados de las otras dos especies.
The plot of the film revolves around this event where the three species of ponies are not friends and our protagonist trying to find out what this is due to, passing through the different cities also to realize that the magic is gone, while Sprout the Earth Pony our antagonist tries to eliminate the other two species that are the species that are the unicorns and pegasus.
La trama de la película gira a este suceso donde las tres especies de ponys no son amigas y a nuestra protagonista intentando averiguar a que se debe esto, pasando por las diferentes ciudades también para darse cuenta que la magia a desaparecido, mientras Sprout el Pony terrestre nuestro antagonista intenta eliminar a las otras dos especies que son los especies que son los unicornios y los pegasos.
The film despite being aimed at a child audience is very well done besides having a lot of influence of Asian culture in addition to current pop culture, the animation is beautiful has good songs and the plot despite being simple is very nice.
La película a pesar de ser dirigida a un publico infantil esta muy bien realizada ademas de tener mucha influencia de la cultura asiática ademas de cultura pop actual, la animación es hermosa tiene buenas canciones y la trama a pesar de ser sencilla es muy linda.
Something that I also loved about the film was its beautiful palette of bright, beautiful, diverse and well combined colors, also the realistic details of the ponies with respect to the animation of the mane of the ponies and the wings of the pegasus which left me in love.
Algo que también me encanto de la película fue su hermosa paleta de colores brillantes, hermosos, diversos y bien combinados, también los detalles tan realistas de los ponys con respecto a la animación de la crin de los ponys y las alas de los pegasos las cuales me dejaron enamorados
I was also very surprised by the diversity of the cast of actors who lent their voices to this film, many well-known luminaries voicing these beautiful ponies.
También quede muy sorprendido fue la diversidad en cuanto al cast de actores que prestaron su voz para esta película mucha iluminarías conocidas que dieron voz a estos hermosos ponys.
I definitely highly recommend this movie which you can find on the Netflix platform, I hope you enjoyed my review, see you in a future post.

Are netflix original movies normally much worse quality than the shows or something? I've seen the same sentiment as yours towards netflix movies before but most Netflix original shows I have seen are incredibly good, but mlp a new generation is the only netflix original movie I've seen and I generally see people criticise the netflix original movies. It's interesting if they are great at shows but bad at movies.
