Hola Hivers, les comento que hace dos años mi familia y yo 👪 nos mudamos para un apartamento más grande 🏢, sin embargo hemos podido hacer muy poco. Pintamos la Sala-Comedor de blanco y mi hija y yo elaboramos las persianas para este espacio del mismo color.

Me gusta el minimalismo agregando toques de otras tendencias como lo rustico, industrial y nórdico, pero el presupuesto familiar se ha visto afectado desde que llego la pandemia 😕 y no he logrado decorar como quisiera.

Hi Hivers, two years ago my family and I 👪 moved into a larger apartment 🏢, however we have been able to do very little. We painted the living/dining room white and my daughter and I made the blinds for this space in the same color.

I like minimalism adding touches of other trends such as rustic, industrial and Nordic, but the family budget has been affected since the pandemic arrived 😕 and I have not been able to decorate as I would like.

Ahora si vamos a lo que vinimos, en esta oportunidad los discos llenaran un espacio en la pared de la sala la cual se encontraba totalmente blanca, aburrida, insulsa.😩

Now if we go to what we came for, this time the discs will fill a space on the wall of the living room which was totally white, boring, bland.😩

Para ello solo necesite:

• Discos de vinilo (tantos como quieras que sea la decoración) yo utilice 18.
• Cinta adhesiva doble faz.
• Cinta Métrica

For this you only need:

• Vinyl discs (as many as you want the decoration to be) I used 18.
• Double-sided tape.
• Tape measure

Empezamos por seleccionar los discos según el color y diseño de la parte central para crear algo visualmente atractivo y divertido (esta actividad la hice en compañía de mi hija @val.j04).😍

Luego elegimos la pared donde haríamos la decoración. Ya teníamos la idea de hacerlo tipo cuadro, es decir, un cuadrado o rectángulo.

We started by selecting the discs according to the color and design of the central part to create something visually attractive and fun (I did this activity with my daughter @val.j04).😍

Then we chose the wall where we would make the decoration. We already had the idea of making it a square or rectangle.

Después tomamos las medidas de ancho y largo de la pared para elegir el tamaño de la obra y realizamos pequeñas marcas. Colocamos en el piso justo debajo de la pared selecciona los discos para presentar como se vería.

Listo este paso pasamos a colocarle la cinta doble faz a cada uno de los discos.

We then took the width and length measurements of the wall to choose the size of the artwork and made small marks. We place on the floor just below the wall and select the discs to show how it will look like.

Once this step is done, we place the double-sided tape on each of the discs.

La mejor parte, pegar los discos en la pared por fila para tratar de que quedara lo más alineado posible.

En el proceso y a medida que podíamos visualizar como iba quedando la pared, estábamos indecisas si terminar el rectángulo o reintentar la forma. Y nos decidimos en dejar de colocar una fila justo antes de la última para que hiciera el efecto de división de espacios.

The best part, gluing the disks to the wall in a row to try to get it as aligned as possible.

In the process and as we could visualize how the wall was coming out, we were undecided whether to finish the rectangle or retry the shape. And we decided to stop placing a row just before the last one to make the effect of dividing spaces.

Aquí les presento el resultado final. Les confieso que estoy enamorada de como se ve, el fondo blanco hace que resalten los colores.

Here is the final result. I confess that I am in love with how it looks, the white background makes the colors stand out.

Antes de hacer esta pequeña decoración, mi hija comparaba las paredes de la Sala-Comedor del apartamento con las instalaciones del hospital psiquiátrico donde hace sus prácticas profesionales, 😂😂😂 eso me motivo aún más para realizar este pequeño pero gran cambio en nuestro hogar.

Todavía quedan ideas y discos de vinilo para seguir creando y cambiado espacios.🤗

En los próximos días estaré realizando otras actividades y presentándolas ante la comunidad.😉

Before making this small decoration, my daughter compared the walls of the living-dining room of the apartment with the facilities of the psychiatric hospital where she does her internship, 😂😂😂 that motivated me even more to make this small but great change in our home.

There are still ideas and vinyl records to continue creating and changing spaces.🤗

In the coming days I will be doing other activities and presenting them to the community. 😉
