Terminé el mes de enero de mi manera favorita: viajando. Este fin de semana tuve la suerte de viajar a la Colonia Tovar. Nunca antes habia visitado ese maravilloso lugar, por eso es que cada esquina la visité con mucha emoción, todo fue muy nuevo para mi. Desde la forma de vestir en los restaurantes hasta la estructura y arquitectura en todo el pueblo.

I ended January in my favorite way: traveling. This weekend I was lucky enough to travel to Colonia Tovar. I had never visited this wonderful place before, that's why I visited every corner with great excitement, everything was very new to me. From the way of dressing in the restaurants to the structure and architecture in the whole town.

Pero como todas las aventuras, todo comienza con el trayecto que hay de por medio. Viajé desde Caracas hasta Aragua, es un viaje de 1 hora y media más o menos. Era el día perfecto para viajar, un día soleado y despejado. Viaje por primera vez con una perrita en el carro, la perrita de mi primo: Tokio. Es muy divertido viajar con mascotas, de verdad lo disfruté.

But like all adventures, it all starts with the journey in between. I traveled from Caracas to Aragua, a trip of about an hour and a half. It was the perfect day to travel, a sunny and clear day. I traveled for the first time with a dog in the car, my cousin's dog: Tokio, it is a lot of fun to travel with pets, I really enjoyed it.

Y no se puede ir a la Colonia Tovar sin antes atravesar el famoso Junquito , aunque pasé por allí muy rápido pude tomar fotos de unos caballos que estaban por el camino.

And you can't go to Colonia Tovar without first crossing the famous Junquito, although I went through there very quickly I was able to take pictures of some horses that were on the road.

Ya por el Junquito y antes de entrar a la Colonia había mucha niebla y hacía demasiado frío,pero el clima es súper agradable. Al llegar, mi recorrido fue gran parte a pie. Primero caminamos por la plaza observando el panorama, todo allí es bellísimo.

Already by the Junquito and before entering the Colonia it was very foggy and too cold but the weather is super nice. Upon arrival my tour was mostly on foot. First we walked around the square observing the panorama, everything there is beautiful.

El primer punto que visité fue El Restaurant Café Mushtall Pero para mi lástima era muy temprano y estaba cerrado, sin embargo , el exterior era bellísimo, me dejó con mucha ilusión de poder tomarme un café allí, sé que cuando vuelva es algo que definitivamente no me puedo perder de nuevo.

The first place I visited was the Restaurant Café Mushtall, but to my shame it was too early and it was closed, however, the outside was beautiful, it left me with a lot of illusion of having a coffee there, I know that when I return it is something I definitely can not miss again.

Luego probé mis primeras fresas con crema en la Colonia Tovar, las pedí con melocotón porque tenía curiosidad de como sería el sabor, estuvo delicioso. Mientras comía las fresas, Tokio conoció a otra perrita que pasaba por allí, fue un encuentro súper tierno.

Then I tried my first strawberries with cream in Colonia Tovar, I ordered them with peach because I was curious about how it would taste, it was delicious. While I was eating the strawberries Tokio met another little dog that was passing by, it was a super tender encounter.

Luego de las fresas continuamos nuestro recorrido y llegamos hasta el Hotel Selva Negra, en dónde hay un pequeño parque, ahí descansamos por un rato mientras los niños más pequeños jugaban con Tokio.

After the strawberries we continued our tour and arrived at the Selva Negra hotel, where there is a small park where we rested for a while while the younger children played with Tokio.
