En Final Fantasy IV The After Years, nos hemos enfrentado a Scarmiglione (tierra), Cagnazzo (agua) y a Barbariccia (viento), tres de los cuatro archidiablos elementales, por lo que nos queda solo uno de ellos llamado Rubicante.
Según la leyenda el juego, mencionan a Rubicante como el archidiablo más poderoso de los 4, donde su inteligencia, destreza y fuerza, supera a cualquier mortal que se le cruce en su camino.
En este capítulo número 10 descubriremos como matar a Rubicante de manera fácil sin muchas complicaciones, por supuesto esto dependerá del nivel que posean nuestros personajes, también observaremos como Cid tenía planeado todo desde el principio, donde una mejora de nuestro barco volador nos facilitará la segunda entrada hacia la torre Zot, no será una tarea sencilla, pero lo conseguiremos.
Y por último conoceremos a un carismático amigo, donde nos ayudará y se unirá en nuestra aventura.

In this chapter number 10 we will discover how to kill Rubicante easily without many complications, of course this will depend on the level that our characters have, we will also observe how Cid had planned everything from the beginning, where an improvement of our flying boat will facilitate the second entrance to the Zot tower, it will not be a simple task, but we will achieve it.
And finally we will meet a charismatic friend, where he will help us and join us in our adventure.
Recordemos que, en el capítulo anterior, estábamos huyendo de las alas rojas de Golbez, por mucho que Cid nos rescatara, era prácticamente imposible huir de nuestros enemigos, nuestro barco volador como estaba blindado por mitrilo, su velocidad había sido disminuido, ya que de no blindarlo con dicho mineral se quemaría por el calor del inframundo.
Puesto que Cid se le ocurrió volar por los aires la entrada al inframundo, pero esto pasa cuando él mismo decide sacrificarse, dicho esto lo perdemos en combate, o al menos eso es lo que pensamos por ahora…

Luego de lo sucedido, nos dirigiremos a Baronía, el reino que habíamos salvado de Cagnazzo el archidiablo elemental del agua, ahora todo el reino nos pertenece, por lo que los habitantes viven una vez más, en sana paz.
Antes de que Cid se sacrificara por nosotros, nos había mencionado que fuéramos a Baronía y que habláramos con sus trabajadores, porque ellos ya saben que hacer a penas nos vean.
Sus ingenieros se encuentran del lado derecho de nuestro reino, al hablar con ellos, nos mencionarán de que Cid les ordeno una vez que nos vean, instalar en el Enterprise un gancho.
¿Se acuerdan del aerodeslizador que usamos cuando conocimos a Edward, para buscar la gema del desierto custodiada por antoleones?
El mismo aerodeslizador lo podemos enganchar en nuestro barco volador, solo debemos usarlo y dirigirnos del lado izquierdo del castillo en ruinas de Eblan.
Justo por la parte donde se ve la torre Zot, podemos usar el gancho si nos situamos sobre el aerodeslizador, para poder entrar en una cueva que se encuentra inaccesible, pero con pequeñas rocas donde podemos usar nuestro planeador, una vez hay entraremos en la cueva.

The same hovercraft can be hooked to our flying boat, just use it and head to the left side of the ruined castle of Eblan.
Just by the part where you see the Zot tower, we can use the hook if we place ourselves on the hovercraft, to enter a cave that is inaccessible, but with small rocks where we can use our glider, once there we will enter the cave.

Encontraremos un nuevo enemigo al que le gusta mucho drenar nuestra salud, dicho enemigo se llama Chupasangre, estos enemigos son una molestia, ya que su ataque es chupar nuestra vitalidad, la peor parte es que mientras transcurra la batalla sé ira disminuyendo nuestra vitalidad por cada segundo que estemos combatiendo.

Cuando estemos en el piso 2 de la cueva de Eblan, encontraremos a los habitantes que estaban en el castillo, donde solo sobrevivieron unos pocos en el ataque, al parecer este es un reino donde habitan muchos ninjas, con habilidades de ninjutsu muy poderosas.
En este lugar podemos comprar nuevos equipamientos para nuestros héroes, al seguir por nuestro camino, uno de los ninjas nos mencionará que el príncipe Edge ha ido a vengar la muerte de sus padres, ya que el archi diablo elemental del fuego Rubicante los había matado.
Al seguir nuestro camino debemos tener cuidado con un poderoso y peligroso enemigo, el golem de acero, esta bestia tiene mucha vitalidad y cuenta vencerlo, ya que su poder de ataque es demasiado alto, puede llegar a quitarnos 800 puntos de vitalidad, por lo que procuremos vencerlo en el primer y segundo turno usando nuestros mejores ataques y a titán la invocación más poderosa de Rydia.

En el camino iremos encontrando a algunos cuerpos de ninjas caídos en combate, al parecer el príncipe Edge no ha ido solo.
Al final de nuestro camino encontraremos a Rubicante y al príncipe de Eblan Edge, donde los observaremos teniendo un combate, por supuesto Rubicante lo vencerá, ya que Edge solo no tiene ninguna posibilidad de vencerlo.

Con el tiempo que valle transcurriendo la batalla, tanto el rey como la reina de Eblan se liberaran de la maldad que le plantaron en su cuerpo, por lo que su aspecto cambiara de color, dirán unas palabras para Edge, y se autodestruirán.

Luego de enfrentarnos a los reyes, aparecerá Rubicante para desafiarnos, Edge adquirirá nuevas habilidades producto de su sed de venganza, puesto que una de ellas nos será muy útil en la batalla contra Rubicante.
Debemos tener mucho cuidado con este enemigo, porque tiene dos modos de lucha, la primera es cuando se protege con su capa de fuego, haciendo que los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo no tengan efecto alguno, también es cuando usa mucho una habilidad llamada “Infierno” donde acaba instantáneamente con uno de nuestros luchadores.
La otra forma que opta es cuando deja de cubrirse con su capa, optando una posición de ataque, también lanzara muchos hechizos de fuego, pero será más vulnerable ante los ataques de cuerpo a cuerpo, si tenemos una espada para Cecil que sea de elemento hielo, será mucho más fácil esta batalla, ya que puede quitar hasta 4000 puntos de impacto a este enemigo.
Antes había mencionado sobre dos nuevas habilidades que aprendió Edge, una es centella y la otra se llama inundación, la segunda habilidad antes mencionada es la que usaremos contra este poderoso enemigo, por suerte Rubicante es muy leal y nos sanara toda nuestra mana y salud antes de combatir.
Al vencerlo Golbez activará una escotilla debajo de nosotros, donde caeremos hasta más no poder, devuelta al piso cuando encontraremos un barco volador el cual le llamaremos Falcón, nombre puesto por Edge.
