Hoy les tengo un tema interesante para el RPH de esta noche, donde en esta nueva temática nos uniremos para conversar sobre los videojuegos de nuestra infancia favoritos, y cave destacar que soy un amante de los videojuegos antiguos como el caso de los que mencionaré el día de hoy, y es que este tipo de contenidos me producen mucha nostalgia donde en aquella época dorada de los videojuegos, los gráficos no tenían nada que ver, salvo las mejoras que le hacían a nivel de gráficos pixelados, y que pocos juegos han tenido el privilegio de ser remasterizados y que solo 1 de ellos de los que mencionaré en esta publicación, ha quedado en el olvido, añorando a los fanáticos que exista un remaster o una entrega más.

Today I have an interesting topic for tonight's RPH, where in this new theme we'll come together to talk about our favorite childhood video games. It's worth noting that I'm a lover of classic video games, like the ones I'll mention today. This kind of content evokes a lot of nostalgia for that golden age of video games, when graphics weren't what they used to be, except for the improvements made to pixelated graphics. Few games have had the privilege of being remastered, and only one of the ones I'll mention in this post has been forgotten, leaving fans longing for a remaster or a new release.
El primero de los videojuegos que mencionaré, el bien llamado Golden Sun de la consola Game Boy Advance (GBA), un videojuego que para los que me conozcan saben que es uno de mis favoritos, y que no solamente ha tenido una sola entrega, sino que también ha tenido 3, un videojuego con una historia increíble, personajes emocionantes y habilidades únicas, siendo un videojuego RPG de combate por turnos, nos da un viaje de lo que nos dejó las entregas de esta época de la saga de Final Fantasy, la era dorada de los RPG de combates por turnos, naciendo en sí este magnífico videojuego con tan espectaculares gráficos para la época.
Todos los personajes me encantaron desde el primer momento que lo vi, las habilidades y la animación de los combates era increíble en aquel tiempo, un mundo abierto lleno de misterios y combates con invocaciones totalmente fascinantes, es una pena que hasta los momentos no hayan dado ninguna información sobre una posible 4.ª entrega o un remake ahora que hay muchos videojuegos que han mejorado.

The first video game I'll mention is the aptly named Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance (GBA). Those who know me are aware that this is one of my favorites, and it hasn't just had one installment, but three. It's a game with an incredible story, exciting characters, and unique abilities. Being a turn-based RPG, it takes us back to the era of the Final Fantasy series, the golden age of turn-based RPGs, and this magnificent game boasts spectacular graphics for its time.
I loved all the characters from the moment I saw them. The abilities and combat animations were incredible for the time, and the open world was full of mysteries and the battles with summons were absolutely fascinating. It's a shame that there hasn't been any information about a possible fourth installment or a remake, especially now that so many other games have improved upon it.
Luego tenemos al asombroso Chrono Trigger, podría decirse que es como otro Golden Sun para mí, pero con una historia mucho más compleja y llena de dificultades donde te obliga incluso a viajar en el tiempo por un mal que azota al mundo, con una historia totalmente increíble y habilidades totalmente fascinantes, la era donde la magia de los videojuegos era una maldición donde provocaba el caos en el mundo, haciendo aparición los alienígenas y el poder descifrar todos los misterios que existen en este videojuego.
La jugabilidad de este videojuego era increíble, era algo muy distinto a otros videojuegos que había jugado en esa época y la historia era un poco complicada de entender, teniendo hasta 3 finales si mal no recuerdo, pero recuerdo que me tomo varios meses en poderlo terminar, aunque en este tiempo solo lo jugaba por sus combates y no por la historia, dándome ganas de jugarlo enfocándome más en el lore del juego y así comprenderlo mejor, aunque por supuesto, cuando lo jugué por primera vez era pequeño, ahora muchas cosas han cambiado.

Then we have the amazing Chrono Trigger. You could say it's like another Golden Sun for me, but with a much more complex and challenging story that even forces you to travel through time due to an evil that plagues the world. It has an absolutely incredible story and fascinating abilities, from an era where the magic of video games was a curse that caused chaos in the world, with aliens appearing and the power to decipher all the mysteries that exist in this game.
The gameplay of this game was incredible; it was something very different from other games I had played at that time, and the story was a bit complicated to understand, having up to three endings if I remember correctly. I recall that it took me several months to finish it, although at that time I only played it for the combat and not for the story. This made me want to play it focusing more on the game's lore to understand it better, although of course, when I first played it I was young, and now many things have changed.
Ahora hablemos de las míticas entregas desde la Nintendo NES hasta la GBA, Final Fantasy, un videojuego que ha crecido en el transcurso de los años y que ha sido uno de los mejores y creadores del género RPG de combates por turnos, con una historia simple de comprender en todas sus entregas y con un único objetivo, vencer la oscuridad en el mundo siendo caballeros de la luz o redentores, este videojuego me encanto tanto que creo que jugué todas sus entregas desde la Nintendo NES hasta la GBA, hay otras entregas un poco más actuales que he jugado, pero que no he podido finalizar.
Vaya que esta publicación hizo que me dieran muchas ganas de jugar nuevamente a estos videojuegos y compartirlos en la comunidad, sinceramente estuvo genial esta experiencia.

Now let's talk about the legendary Final Fantasy games, from the Nintendo NES to the GBA. This video game has grown over the years and is one of the best and most influential in the turn-based RPG genre. With a simple, easy-to-understand story across all its installments and a single objective—to vanquish the darkness in the world as knights of light or redeemers—I loved this game so much that I think I played every single one from the Nintendo NES to the GBA. There are some more recent installments that I've played, but haven't been able to finish.
This post has definitely made me want to play these games again and share them with the community. Honestly, this experience was fantastic.

Es difícil decidirse por un solo juego que marcará nuestra infancia, solo conozco los FF porque uno de mis hermanos es súper fanático, la historia me gustaba mucho, pero la batalla por turno nunca fue lo mío.
Siempre que nos hablas de Golden Sun yo me vuelvo loco jajaja porque ese juego para mí fue demasiado especial, yo nunca lo jugué en el GBA físico, lo jugué en emulador durante muchos años pero siempre que lo pasaba, esperaba un tiempo, un par de años y volvía otra vez a jugar en un emulador y así sucesivamente, o sea, la historia siempre es magnífica y cuando vas creciendo lo entiendes diferente.
Los demás no los llegué a jugar pero sí los he llegado a ver mencionados en muchos lugares de reseñas de videojuegos por lo que sé que son buenas joyas, obviamente yo conozco la saga de Final Fantasy, pero yo jugué del 7 en adelante jajaja, el Chrono Trigger si no lo jugué nunca.

Desde muy temprano veo que te gustaban los RPG mi Bro, muy buen gusto.
El que me enganchó full pero demasiado fue Lufia, toda su saga, empecé con una y luego otra y así sucesivamente. Fueron muchas horas explorando mazmorras, pisos tras pisos, mejorando mi set, agregando pociones, matando demonios. El lore 10/10 muy bueno. Gran juego. Me lo trajiste a la memoria con tu reseña de RPGs. Por cierto no he probado ninguno de los que mencionas pero estoy seguro que son igual de buenos.
